Possible on console as well, as long as you have a homebrew enabled console

Nabs said:right click the game and enable dlist cache and block merging. make sure you're also on a semi recent build. that might help a bit.

Have you tried ticking the use EuRGB60 option (I'd assume that would enable PAL60 and thus 60Hz). That said, I still get some games running at 50FPS...with no speed impactxyla said:Could it be, that it runs slower because I have the PAL version of the game? Or does it ran at 50frames native? It doesn't stutter and the music doesn't feel slower than it should be, but DK doesn't move as fast as on the Wii.
No, aside from playing 3 games of Super Smash Bros Brawl at the same time at 60 fps (yes, I tried it).Drkirby said:Would there be any boost to Dolphin at the moment from a 6 core processor, or does it still only make use of 2?
Using a regular controller or keyboard is the only way I'll play horizontal Wiimote games.Durante said:You know what's best about playing DKCR on Dolphin? You can map the "wiimote shaking" to a button.
I don't think the PAL60 option even works.Starwolf_UK said:Have you tried ticking the use EuRGB60 option (I'd assume that would enable PAL60 and thus 60Hz). That said, I still get some games running at 50FPS...
Or you could... you know... acquire backups of games you already own from the cloud...NIN90 said:So I need a new DVD drive to dump Wii games? Ugh.

Only if you don't own a Wii. And in that case it'd be pretty much piracy anyway.NIN90 said:So I need a new DVD drive to dump Wii games? Ugh.

Is this considered OK by EMU-GAF?drizzle said:Or you could... you know... acquire backups of games you already own from the cloud...
The question was, how to do I re-map controls in DKC Returns.Luigi87 said:One good method is have a portable harddrive hooked to a Wii, with USB Loader installed on that Wii.
Then backup the games with the USB Loader. Move the hard drive to the PC and play.
Of course depending on how your drive is formatted (say NTFS or FAT) then you may need to convert said backup to ISO at this point with something like Wii Backup Manager. Then play.
Should be able to dump from Wii to SD or Wii to PC via wifi. Need a homebrewed console.NIN90 said:So I need a new DVD drive to dump Wii games? Ugh.

I bet you turned a filter on by mistake, The 16 bit filter.can someone please tell me why my GC animal crossing looks like an infrared heat image
NIN90 said:Anyone know why my FPS won't go higher than 60? I used both Auto and 60 with the framelimit option, no dice.
JADS said:Do you have audio throttle on? You can find that under DSP. If so turn it off.
NIN90 said:Nope, it's off.
JADS said:Are you forcing V-Sync somewhere? Check under "Graphics" or the Nvidia Control panel. I get around 80 FPS on my i7@3.5 Ghz using R6517
I have an i7-875k (@ 3.2Ghz, haven't really OCd yet) and GTX 580 and get dips to about 55 quite a lot.NIN90 said:Yeah, won't go higher than 55% speed. Maybe it's an overall performance problem? My FPS range from 20 to 35.
I followed the OP step by step to set Dolphin up and later on I tried the DKCR guide on the dolphin board.
Does Dolphin really need such a beast of a PC? My specs are by no means outdated (hell, i got this graphics card last week!)

I rarely have less than 5 or so builds at a time and I label them as what ever game they are configured for. Also, it helps me stay a lot more focused on finishing games.Rollo Larson said:thats exactly what it was. the shader setting, thanks.
im not sure this this dolphin thing is worth the trouble of changing settings back and forth for each game. i only care to use it for my GC games and i dont have that many anyway
I haven't really touched it since then.Drkirby said:Is the build linked in your post still the best for F-Zero, or have you found that a newer one works better?
abload.deDrkirby said:Most of the shots I had off all the AA and such, so they are very jaggy (Though at 60FPS, you don't notice this at all), but here is a quick shot of Top Ride with all the fancy effects on while I try to find someplace to upload all the others to.

Also, the 360 and PS3 PowerPC cores don't support Out-of-Order execution so it's not as simple as you think.
Wait Ocarina of Time? You are probably better off playing the N64 version of it on Project 64 rather than with that 4 pack gamecube disc.Rollo Larson said:i cant get my ocarina of time to work without stuttering...god how frustrating
As long as the controller works on your PC. I use my snes pad, 360 pad, and ps3 arcade stick without a problem.WEGGLES said:Sorry if these have been asked before but... (checked first couple pages)
Is it possible to use a Dualshock 3 with this?
Is there a guide for Chibi Robo?
And is an i5 750 + ATI Radeon HD 5850 + 4GB DDR3 enough to run these games properly at 1600x900?

My system is pretty close to yours (i7 860) and I get pretty good performance with dolphin. A little overclock, and you'd really be killing it.
