Donald Trump: "She said (Cruz) is a pussy"

The way he walks away from the mic after he repeats the sentence is pure 90's wrestling promo.

Trump knows how to sell it.

Trump got reprimanded a few months ago by news stations for letting some audience member say something offensive loud enough to be picked up by the microphones. People said that Trump should have told the person they were being a jerk/bully/disrespectful. Ever since then, Trump plays that angle up with obviously sarcastic "oh you shouldn't say that!"-type of lines.

Basically, it's Trump specifically targeting/trolling people. It's super transparent of course because that's the entire joke.

I remember what it was. The man stood up and asked about "Muslims, we all know Obama is one, but when can we get rid of them?"

Trump's response? "This is the first question? We will be looking at things, needs to be looked into."

I'm like, is this guy for real?

These people make my brain hurt. Are you just looking for someone that pronounces the word "huge" without making an h sound? I don't understand how you could make such a violent swing from one candidate to another.

People who are like that seem to mainly be looking for someone who is very anti establishment and doesn't get influenced from big money or superpacs

I guess social issues are completely irrelevant to them

He's calling Cruz a pussy for not wanting to torture as many people as Trump himself wants to torture. There are plenty of things wrong with that.

Not really, he let the audience say it. If the woman hadn't said it, he wouldn't have called Cruz a pussy. He has every right to call Cruz a pussy or whatever non hate-speech term he likes. Whether you agree w/ his stance on torture or not has zero to do w/ it being perfectly fine to use the word. Don't see the reason to recoil in hushed whisper and say "omg, he said a swear." He's an adult, he says lots of them.

What people like most about him is he says in public what he would say in private, and that applies to very small percentage of public figures.

I don't think a president should be using the word "pussy" in public and I don't think a president should be condoning "waterboarding and a hell of a lot worse". I don't want the guy serving me at Taco Bell saying "pussy", much less someone who wants to run our country.

I'll tell you something right now, Clinton Vs Trump debate would be real interesting.

A Bernie vs Trump debate would be even more interesting: an angry old socialist versus an angry old ultra-capitalist. It's like matter and antimatter coming together - I wonder who would be the first to explode.

I'm more wondering exactly what kind of mud-slinging we're gonna see here. I can't imagine it will be pretty.

I know conservatives (as well as Trump) don't want us to look like Europe, but he's a dude that only France or Italy or Hungary could elect. Forreal.

Silvio was a clown but he never advocated for bombing people (althought everyone in america does not only reps but w/e), never said torture was something funny or suggested deporting 1 million people. He made a lot of sexist remarks on the style of "you look really good you shouldn't work in this shitty place" and i can remember a diet racist joke only once, when Obama was elected saying that "america has elected a tall, young, handsome and a bit bronzed man". He is a douchebag sexist corrupt piece of shit, but he didn't go anywhere over the top as Trump is doing in public (in private? he's probably worse than trump tbh), he had that warped sense of honor that stopped him from doing that.

I can't believe i'm defending Silvio in 2016 from being compared to someone. Like, if you told the 2008 he'd probably suicide pronto.

Of course he has the right. Just like I have the right to say anyone who chooses a candidate based on their willingness to say snarky bullshit in public is a braindead moron. But I also don't think what his followers like most about him is willingness to speak without tact. It's a little more than that. I think what his followers like most about him is his willingness to say bigoted, racist and xenophobic bullshit without tact.
