You are disgusting NBC. How exactly is Donald Trump even remotely still associated with any of their programming? They saw him win the election and pretty much went crawling back, didn't they?
Pence and co. will do most of the presidential work.
Trump has a TV show and twitter account to run
NBC fires Billy Bush for "Grab them in the Pussy"
NBC hires Trump for "Grab them in the Pussy"
WTF IS GOING ON LOL
At this point, it is absolutely disgusting how we are clearly enabling this man's mental disorder.
You guys had a third candidate that was more sound than Trump and Hilary combined.
Basically, he doesn't give a fuck.
I still don't get it. You guys had a third candidate that was more sound than Trump and Hilary combined.
Really hoping he means Bernie. Good lord.If Sanders counts as a third candidate, what about the hundreds of Republican primary opponents? Unless you mean Johnson.
This motherfucker needs every brain cell he has focused on not being a terrible president.
Can you imagine the shit the right would have talked if Obama had a side hustle?
How is this even possible. A sitting president is working on a TV show?
Really hoping he means Bernie. Good lord.
I was thinking Bernie.

This has nothing to do with NBC wanting Trump's name in the show. Trump sued NBC immediately after their decision to sever from him. Does no one remembers that? That's because we were all too busy laughing at it. But he won that lawsuit. He had clauses in his contracts and breaking them would have likely cost NBC a shit load of money (i.e. millions).
NBC seems to have settled on just continuing the show by giving him an EP credit (which is an EXTREMELY worthless credit, in many cases btw). And all they have to do is pay Trump $20-30K per episode, which is pennies for them, as opposed to having to shell out millions for violating contracts and clauses with him.
The president makes about $570k annually. He's gonna get an extra $660k for at least one season. Jesus.
He turned down the presidential salary. He's opted for $1 two days after election, it was covered pretty widely.
I thought NBC had fired him.
Can he plug his show in a State of the Union address.
Twist, its actually just a cardboard cutout of Trump

How is this even possible. A sitting president is working on a TV show?
I thought his main focus was going to be making America great again
They should add "President" to his credit.
Still dumb af that he did that. Will Jimmy Fallon give him more rubs
They should add "President" to his credit.
The fact that he isn't fired is fucking disgusting.
Shout out to the FCC for regulating television and the internet while also reporting directly to a reality TV mogul.
I think there's more to the story. I think he was fired, legal got involved, and they were forced to make him exec producer.
Next week on Celebrity Apprentice...the contestants get to run the Bureau of Economic and Business Affairs. The winner gets a position on President Trump's cabinet.

Time said:As the records of Congressional proceedings of 1789 show, the topic came up for intense discussion among legislators. It was Virginia’s John Page who made the point that although Washington “in his patriotic ardor, his love for his country” had said he was willing to forego payment, “the constitution requires that he shall receive a compensation, and it is our duty to provide it.” (That requirement is part of Article II of the U.S. Constitution). As Page pointed out, setting the precedent that it was patriotic to skip a step that was otherwise required by the Constitution would be a mistake: the rest of the men who made up the government needed to be able to accept their salaries without shame, and failing to provide for that payment might put politicians into debt to wealthy friends in order to avoid accepting the public funds that were rightfully theirs.
Forbes said:Since compensation is set by statute, Trump can't actually refuse to take it - just like George Washington, who reportedly tried to refuse a salary but got paid anyway, at $25,000 per year.
Sure, whatever
