Nah I only play Docked, but I'm curious as to how it helps?
And to make it worse, the game is pretty addictive and cathartic when breaking stuff so I'm left with overstimulation but wanting more at the same time after a time but while still feeling overstimulated lol
I mean, it's weird that this happens since I love colorful cartoon/anime stuff a lot, I think so far the second level was the best because it didn't make feel that way.
I agree with the cathartic nature of the game, so I understand your conflict. I first played this game on a 55" 4k TV. I found it overstimulating with the color choices in the first level and constant tiny shards flying everywhere from smashing nonstop. It wasn't as bad on my smaller 1080 set.
One night I was alone falling asleep on the couch and just grabbed the Switch. Played DK for like 2 hours. The effect was gone. The screen is smaller, everything is more focused, your eyes don't have to dart around to see everything, and you can adjust the screen brightness easily. You can fully fall into the headspace of digging and tunneling around, it's very chill. Don't get me wrong, I docked it again and played a lot more the next day with online co op and was totally fine, but if you have a serious issue TRY IT.
