So DOOM > DOOM 2 > 64 are the same guy, DOOM 3 is like a parallel universe or something (its not fully explained)

Then the doom guy gets put into the sentinals we see in Dark Ages, that leads to DA > DOOM 2016 > Eternal

Then we have the shared universes of whether its part of Quake (sharing the Eldritch themes) and if its related to Wolfenstien (but far far into the future)

I blame Marvel and their multiverses, in the Q3 days you'd just do it because it was fun, now you have to come up with a convoluted lore explanation as to why they are there.

Current Doom lore makes no sense to me. All this shit started cos we didn't have enough energy, so we tapped into 'soul energy'. This caused loads of shit with the hell realm, causing them to wipe us out just about.

But then we somehow created a synthetic version of argent energy, while we were at our most defeated I might add.

I watched a doom timeline. None of it makes sense. Earth is nearly totally destroyed and doom guy saves earth by evacuating the entire earth pop off world, stops the demons and then gets stuck in hell and then ends up fighting for aliens.

Meanwhile earth is magically rebuilt and repopulated and then they go to mars and do the exact same thing again starting the events of doom 2016 lmao .
