it feels impossible to split game time between something singleplayer and dota. I have to completely stop playing dota in order to finish any singleplayer games because I'm always like why the fuck am I wasting time with this game when I could be enjoying myself more in dota.

edit: so many bans in that minority thread, stay out peeps

The high end ones are 10$(like all the third party ones have been that price iirc, Trine, bastion, etc.), and the ones with added extras are more.

The portal pack with the announcer, hud skin and ward skin is 17.49 which seems a comparable level pack.

Announcers are basically always available on the market for pennies on the dollar after a few months though, cause no matter how cool they are, eventually you get tired of the same lines.

Yeah, at $17, I won't be buying it.

You want some bad new people though? Announcers aren't in the drop pool anymore, so its going to go down in price very slowly. Not that it matters to much, since drops can't be sold/traded, but still.

yeah doesn't seem all that crazy then. Still seems excessive to me considering the cost of other content but $17 certainly sounds realistic when you break it down like that. Totally forgot about the portal one.

I know exactly how you feel, I didn't even buy anything this Steam Sale because I have started measuring my time and money spent on games like "Would I enjoy playing Dota more than this?" and the answer is yes almost 100% of the time.

That SF vs Slark 1v1 manfight bottom lane decided where things were going. They just couldn't kill Sumail with the BKB, Butterfly and Omni spells.


Pretty chilly in the arena this morning! Fear is crazy for just wearing a shirt, it's like 12°C (53°F for weird people) and feels even colder if you're just sitting around. I'm wearing three layers of clothing.
