I left clicked on the dudes in the secret spots and they sold me the stuff I wanted.
Make sure you're not using the way bottom right shop, but instead the nearly bottom right shop, or whatnot. If you try to buy a secret item and you're not at a secret shop, it should do a ping on the map that shows you where the shops are.
I don't really understand why there are secret shops...I guess teams could camp them and try to kill people who are buying items?
More or less. The secret shop is supposed to add risk in getting some of the better basic items in the game. The spot is also a bit hard to get to when you are loosing.

Hmm, that's been used in front of Joindota's Dreamhack and SMM news and interview videos. Between Valve and Joindota, I wonder which is the horse and which is the cart here.

It also adds time, even when it's safe. You can't just TP back to base to pick it up from your stash. You actually have to physically go to the shop before even purchasing it. Or send a courier there.
The only problem is, it is hard for Synderen to both commentate and compete at the same time.
yeah but i have no clue what to type in there since i never mess with that stuff. so if someone wants to make a tutorial that we could have in the OP that would probably be a nice thing.
Open Notepad. Type chat_join "NeoGAF" into it. Goto save. Goto your Steam\steamapps\common\dota 2 beta\dota\cfg folder. Set Sate as type to all files. Save as autoexec.cfg.
Also, some other useful things to add would be
dota_force_right_click_attack 1, allows you to deny without having to push down A.
con_enable 1, makes it so the console opens with the ` key (And it doesn't have the console open every time like with -console)

I read somewhere (either here or on the Dota 2 sub-reddit) that there was a console command to make it so that when you right-click on the minimap, you don't walk there. I suicided into 5 people a few too many times because of a misclick on the minimap.
True, though Slesh can and does tend to sub in when Synderen's team competes. It was still very nice seeing Synd on both sides of the aisle at Dreamhack, the perspective an active player has as a commentator is really unique.

Tried him earlier. Got put in a lane with someone who refused to harass back. Just kind of afked by the tower, while leeching Xp. Fun times. =[
Felt extremely useless the entire game. Too squishy to go into their group, not enough damage, etc.
He didn't really strike me as any more mana hungry than most other champs. Throw down the ultimate and your W and wade in there. He has more base strength than any other champion as far as I can tell, so I'm not really sure why you guys are saying he's squishy. And of course he needs farm, he's a carry.

Wow, I feel completely unbeatable as Dazzle with Mekansm, Eul's and Pipe if I've had a decent laning phase. It's like, "no, you won't be killing any of my teammates during team battles, ever. Problem? :V"
Dazzle is an amazing support, the combination of shallow grave, mek and shadow wave heals, and armor buffs allow him to make or break teamfights. A dazzle on our team once got so fat on assists(and kills) that he was wearing an assault cuirass just to fuck with the enemy. (This was approaching an hour into the game, 5 people can hold you at base for a looong time.)
Once people figure out Dazzle he will probably get the brunt of the silence abilities. Dazzle makes cash unlike other support classes and he works well with melee carries/gankers.
I really wish there was a record option built in. I wanted to save my game as a 9/3/? Dazzle and my 8/3/22 tidehunter game.
As tide I managed to get an early vanguard and was tanking all 5 heroes like they were nothing. It was hilarious. I think one of the opposing team members said something along the lines of "what does it take to kill you?"

Yeah I dunno about you guys but when I play Dazzle, I'm always the first target in any battle against a good team. The only time that's not true is when I'm late to the fight (whether intentionally or unintentionally).
Raxus: You don't need a record option. It already happens. Search recent games for your name and you should be able to find it. It's a bit buggy, though, and I've never gotten it to work. Others here have.

It can be kinda hard to get to Dazzle especially if he's in the back of a fight, having to go through the melee / ranged carries just to target him can be difficult if you position yourself right.
Dazzle's skills have long range so it's pretty nice if you can just play it very back.

I'm well aware of all of this, but that doesn't change the way things tend to go down against a team that isn't braindead.
