Voices of Dota 2

I think he did the woman voices better than the males.

My favorite caster in terms of conveying the battle at hand has been Ayesee from American Dota League, dude sounds like a radio broadcaster who didn't make it and now does casting for DOTA

Too bad his game knowledge is horrific. He really needs Draskyll.

Fuck some people are stupid in this game. Jakiro doesn't support me as a support and says I'm bad. He didnt even get the courier despite being the only support on our team, doesnt upgrade it and gets one ward the entire game.

I've been playing some Timbersaw...

He's very fun to play but I can see why he isn't picked competitively. He lacks a stun, his slow isn't that reliable and leaves you potentially very vulnerable if you get silenced because Chakram doesn't return to you then.

I feel like Valve missed a trick here...he should be able to be like a monkey going from tree to tree but that 4 second cd detracts from his ability to focus people down and maintain pressure, it's more burst damage in one instance.

They should have made his Timber Chain more like Storm Spirits Ball of Lightning...make him feel like a pinball.

There's been many situations where I have the enemies clumped up and I have tree's perfectly aligned but that damn cd just ruins it...he's already a very situational hero and so very reliant on tree's I don't get why storm has freedom of movement but timber who needs tree's has a cd...

If he must have a cd on his chain than at least give him a mini stun ala Sniper.

He's really fun but he needs a couple of reworks to his skills if he is ever going to be picked competitively...I don't think his 6.78 buffs go far enough.

Well you have to remember that Timber Chain is pure damage (Chakram as well). You can't really buff it or it would be too good.

And Whirling Death is also pure if you cut a tree in the process.

Would have loved to see a cast time reduction on Timbersaw. Not sure if that would have been balanced, though. It's not like he has a horrible cast time compared to the majority of the hero pool. It's just extremely annoying when using his chain.

been playing luna lately, she's a good carry and i perform rather well with her unlike some other heroes. Been using her tournament build guide that's inside steam and that works wonders.
Also i traded Battle Banner of the Masked and Garb of the Deadly Nightshade for 2 common bounty hunter items, i realized later it was probably a mistake but hey first trade. The guy i traded with claims he was a gaffer.

Dude, you got scammed. Banner is worth a shitload. Highest ive seen it sold for is 1 key.
If you know who you traded with name and shame

Chain should have no cooldown, but its mana cost increases with levels and it mini stuns for 0.1 sec. Also decrease its cast time to 0.1/0.2 or something

I need a little guidance here, guys. I've been playing roughly 35 hours up till now. I'm a little confused of how to approach the learning. Is it recommended to stick to one hero or two heroes and really learn them in depth, or should I plow through the roster in order to get a feel for all of them? Or perhaps I should stick to a role instead? I'm quite fond of the idea of playing support characters (yeah, I was a heal bot in my WoW days...). However, I've had decent success with Juggernaut that isn't exactly a support character.

/confuzzled

You know, having every CM hero in by TI3 is not some lofty impossible goal. I think they could add heroes right up until mid July, giving them a month and a half to finish Xin, Terrorblade and Techies, which I don't think is too bad if they've already started on them.

LC and Ab are basically done. Release them next week, then work on the last three and release them mid July.

Last game I was Lina and they asked me to mid but also to buy and upgrade courrier and wards. Then proceed to complain I'm not good at killing mid when I have to place wards and buy them.

Find someone competent to help you from the get-go.

Solo queue will just leave you with tonnes of bad habits.

Jahrakal in CM? How do you balance?

Troll is an exception, we really need to see how good he is after his ult nerf. He as a carachter isnt that good, so you cant overnerf his ult. I think a Duration of 7 with a CD of 20 would have been enough, but lets see how he is now.

I'mma mid omni so hard next patch.

My friend it gonna play PL / other flavor of the month carry and we're gonna turtle so hard with omni's newfangled glyphing powers.

Let Timber chain to his chakram.

There I fixed every problem.

I dunno man, 2 heroes almost done but still enough left. And if they take away like a month before then there really isn't much time left.. but we'll see.

It's not TW. It's the other hard carry.

Every Chrono is instakill.
5 meepo's can sack an entire tower/rax in 7s.

Better female voices than male.

Do you really have to go through a few trades to know a rare and an uncommon are worth more than 2 commons?

Blind leading the blind. Enjoy the trench.

Yeah, who is this gaf scammer?

This probably doesn't apply to your particular game but I'm of the camp that believes the solo mid should definitely be purchasing the 6 minute wards if the supports are struggling to get up their boots/magic wands. It costs a little less than one creep wave and you have immediate access to a lot of hot spots since you're already mid. I do it almost every time I solo. Although I do get called a mega-nerd every time I do it in inhouses.
