This reminds me of NaVi losing their mojo just before last year's International.

Is its just that Champions become complacent? Or do they just want to psyche out opponents and bounce back hard like NaVi in TI 2012

iG got routed back in the previous G1 to LGD first and then Orange. Xiao8 was playing mid at that time too. Don't be surprised that they might lose to Orange later today.

The quality is always there, they will comeback easily.

Oh yeah.

I forgot how dominant LGD was in the lead-up to and during, before choking in Intl. finals.

Anti-mage....

19-0

Divine rapier. Manta. Battle Fury.

Yea........

2 team members were complete shit. One was a russian Tiny who fed and quit. They had a Riki who quit. 4v4. We were completely behind until I starte ganking.

Anti-mage + Pudge + Skeleton = Death

Aaaaand after my last awesome game I just had my worst game ever.

They had 3 we had 5. We fucking lost.

Their drow....

Man this has so far been the best night of Dota I've seen in quite a while.

Glad my brother has a G1 ticket, these replays are a keeper.

I can't wait for INTL 2013, nothing shakes up dota like good ol' East vs. West matchups. It seems to simultaneously rattle AND invigorate all the teams.

All the west vs. west matches of late seemed kinda boring.

Alas d2lounge crashed after Dk vs LGD match. Mushi would have had my 4 rares.

Did Alliance play iG and I missed it? I cant find a vod for it on dotacinema.com.

Also want to thank the gaf inhousers for playing against my friends last night. I knew they would lose but I figured it would be good for them to play some better competition than they usually face in team match making.I did not expect the reaction I got from them and it was pretty disappointing.

Are you making an argument that people should take melee carries with void on the basis that he is going to hit all of his chronos such that the key heroes to be attack are perfectly on the edge of the chrono? That's incredibly idealistic. When you are in a teamfight and you are ulting as void your primary objective is getting as many of the enemy inside it as possible. Perfectly getting some of their heroes at the perfect edge of the chrono so that your melee carries can also dps is them is ridiculous. I mean do people at the very least understand the point I am making that its overall a better choice to not have multiple melee carries on a team when you have a void based on the opportunity cost of not having a ranged carry?

Man, can't believe your totally rational argument backfired on you there haha. I think it's pretty ridiculous to say that you should be landing your ults with everyone on the edge of the chronosphere so the other melee heroes can dps. Trying to go for those is far more dangerous than trying to get them in the middle, since you could easily wiff it and leave all of the heroes outside of your chrono that way; at least aiming to get them in the middle leaves some room for error.

Still, I see the argument that you should try and adjust your ults based on your team, but that in no way negates how retarded it is to pick up melee carries with a void on your team.

Edit: Also, IG getting stomped these last few games

Amazing plays by Alliance against DK, but I cannot empathize enough how well the chinese play. Even outfarmed they managed to do quite well against [A], punishing every mistake they've made.

And props to Ad. Bulldog, BKB bear ftw.

Streaming now? Link?

I am terrible at Lone Druid, or any hero with multiple distinct controllable characters- Chen, Visage, Enchantress- and I have no idea how to get better. I just can't handle controlling different heroes well. I can play Invoker with total ease and Meepo isn't bad at all since every unit is largely the same but when I'm trying to last hit with LD while harassing with the bear or trying to use hotkeys across both, which differ from bear to druid, I mess up. Any tips or is it really just a muscle memory you have to develop?

You know something is gonna go your way when you're Night Stalker and on the first night you're sitting on a score of 6/0/3. Such a fun hero.

Postponed until G-1 wraps up.

They'll restart Tuesday.

What?

But...that's so asinine. TI3 should take precedence over anything else.

Unless G1 was already announced and scheduled way before the dates were known...in which case, why would you try to hold the Eastern Qualifiers then.

G1 is a LAN final of a tournament that was almost complete by the time the teams for TI were even announced so, yeah.

Bwahahaha I dreamed of milk yesterday. I can't remember everything but at some point there were a bunch of people and I shout out loud "Milk sucks!" and everybody started laughing. Hahaha i'm sure I'm missing some context. Anyway I woke up laughing lol. (I guess I dream of being better than milk lol #justadream)

How is this even possible? Couldn't you just bunch up and do a 5 vs 3 team battle over and over?

I don't even know.

We were split up most of the time and people had to keep making base runs for health. Plus drow picked us off before we could even join.

Joining earlier would have definitely help so it was awful planning on our part but holy shit it was infuriating as fuck.

Tried out the buggy tutorial in the test client, lmao.

It's Sniper vs Axe solo mid. You don't get a courier, Axe bought a set of wards + stout shield, I went back to base because I noticed I didn't have a courier, TP'd back to mid and the TP was on the DIRE tower (you're radiant) and when you take down the tower it congratulates Dragon Knight for winning the tutorial (while you're Sniper).

Fun stuff.

No problem, the games were lighthearted fun (for us gaffers at least). Plus I got a 13 minute rampage in our second game so what's not to like. What was the reaction they had though?

Probably the same reactions I had when final put you and kazabi on his team.
