Seems to me Liquid shouldda picked a more abusive line-up. DS and Chen first? Those are not game-breaking heroes. Why not LS or SD or Mag or Visage or Kotl or something. Then they proceed to play weird (jungling in enemy jungle and tower diving twice with no results). Makes no sense.

Aggressive jungling isn't weird, and the tower dive to kill Sylar almost paid off but Sylar outplayed them and the supports tp'd in to counter gank. Just an overall bad start.

Are there any Heroes similar to Udyr from LoL? Like a hero that can change stances and can only have 1 stance active at a time? It's the only hero i miss from LoL.

Was out all day, anyone mind filling me in on how the teams played in their matches today? Dunno who to bet on for the upcoming g-1 matches atm :X

I think the closest you'll get is Troll Warlord, he has a melee and ranged stance.

Both Troll Warlord and Lone Druid have 2 different "stances" that they can alternate between. Also a number of heroes have temporary transformations such as Dragon Knight, Lycanthrope, and Alchemist.

I was going to say that and Lone Druid, I guess. I read briefly on what Udyr does and if anything from Dota, it reminds me more of someone with a toggleable Unique Attack Modifier, so that would be Drow Ranger, Clinkz, Silencer, Outworld Devourer, and Huskar. The basic idea behind those is that you can buy another Unique Attack Modifier as an item, and what will happen is your toggleable one will override your item one when you have it on.

On Drow Ranger lots of people get lifesteal mainly for farming, but if they need to survive in a fight they turn off Frost Arrows.

On Huskar Lifesteal is essential. They can use Burning Spears for additional damage, and getting Huskar's own health down, and use Lifesteal to get it back if they need it.

Clinkz may sometimes get Skadi to use that to slow, then switch to Flaming Arrows for attacking, reapplying the slow as it wears off.

Silencer and Outworld Devourer don't usually buy other Unique Attack Modifiers since their built in ones are so good. Early game they have to be conservative due to the manacost, but later on, they can be more liberal with them. The reason they just stick to their built in ones is because they scale (they are based on their Intelligence)

edit: fuck i'm missing 6 more PL's

I tried Milkman's Radiance Refresher Spectre build. It worked out well actually. Here's the results.

I really should have said "Screw Vanguard" and just rushed the Radiance. Otherwise, it worked out really well! The entire team had to run away in fear when I double ulted because just being near the illusions was killing them.

They should just keep it on subscriber mode. Dendi in chat using his own face.

Edit: Aaaaand, chat explodes again. I like earthshaker being picked more.

Oh god, the "No Enchant" build is the most common? God damn.

Edit: Its not that it has the highest build rate, it has the highest win rate.

What the hell sort of build is that...what the hell????????

I can only believe that it get's played down in the trenches, by masses of players, over and over and over....

It's the opposite, I'm betting. Dotabuff skill builds are only culled from games where the hero hits level 18. Chances are if you're dicking around with Enchantress, you know what you're doing and can pull off an Enchantless build and still win.

The skill build thing is really horrible for that fact, especially if you ever look at the games played section, the average game is less then 20 minutes for some reason. Just go though the pages, shit tons of short games.
