I had to transport some slaves to Lawson Orbital and was told there was a spaceport there I had to dock at but when I got there (after figuring out you can do some hyperdrive shit and crashing into a planet or something) it was just an empty part of the map so I jettisoned the slaves and lost them in space and it seems Lawson Orbital spaceport isn't even a thing. Someone is going to have to explain this game to me.

Lawson Orbital should be the name of the spaceport. If you look at what the mission tells you, it should say what system it's in. When you get to that system, you should see Lawson Orbital as one of the points of interest in the left panel.

Yeah, I marked it on my HUD and when I got there it was literally nothing but stars and rocks and a bunch of Viper ships or whatever. Either way, the slaves are dead and the mission is failed.

Wait, do you get how supercruise and hyperspace work?

Supercruise is the mode where you're in a system, and moving around really fast (you can see that the speed units are in "c" which is the speed of light). Think of it as being in an overworld map in an RPG. You drop from supercruise when you're going below 1 Mm/s when it says "Safe to disengage" in the middle.

Hyperspace is what you use to jump from system to system.

I did supercruise. The marker led to a big open area within a yellow circle and I flew within the circle, up and down, left and right and didn't find anything but targetable Vipers but I didn't want to shoot at anyone or anything.

How close to the yellow circle did you get before you dropped from supercruise? You have to get within 1 Mm of where you want to drop to, and you'll get a "Safe to disengage" notification in blue in the middle of the screen. That's where you can hit the button to drop.

I went into the circle and it said "slow down" so I slowed down and just floated around for a bit.

I think when he said "you can find me on the stage" or whatever he was taking a shot at loda that he was still working and loda wasn't, not to meet him backstage. I don't see the big deal tbh Bryce Harper got chokeslammed by Pappelbon on national TV and there wasn't police involvement and tears shed.

Yeah, I think so. Some people think KB/M is doable though.

Flight Stick is ideal though.

If you use a controller, you'll probably still want to have the keyboard in front of you as you may have to still keep some less-used functions mapped to it.

nothing beats the accuracy of a mouse.

stick is purely for feel, immersion and entertainment. the very best results with the very best weapons (fixed) are coming from people running a custom setup for their mouse (not default).

I prefer the feel of the former but I know I'll never be as accurate as a mouse player. So mouse being "doable" isn't quite the right thought here. "Optimal but not as immersive" is the better statement.

I see reddit has decided that the joke was always about Kelly despite "Hiko's mom" being a joke in the CS scene and Kelly originally taking it as a joke about Hiko's mom. I really can't understand how that escalated to physical confrontation. Well, it's eSports so of course it escalated. 12 year olds don't know better.

The misunderstanding is because it was a sign that Kelly was holding, so Loda took RL's joke to mean Kelly was the groupie and not hiko's mom. idk how any1 lets that shit escalate, i'm sure thats when you just send a DM saying "Fuck off m8"
