I know it's been repeated numerous times, but those who don't see a problem fail to get the point of the complaints. On any other platform (PS, Xbox, PC, etc) if a game launches overpriced, a little patience will get it to a price that's easier to swallow. With Nintendo that very rarely happens.
People did complain when others made the move from $60 to $70. You just don't hear about it as much now because those same games are like $20-$30 in a few months time. An $80 Nintendo game will probably still be an $80 Nintendo game years from now. There is no waiting it out.
The console itself is a little overpriced, but I think most have come to terms with that. That single investment is one many can and will deal with, but if you price people out of the games (which is where most of the spending is through the lifecycle of the system) then why even get the console in the first place?
