I played and beat it on PC, a few months ago.
I thought it was better than I expected. That's not saying much, though.
Graphics are great, character creator is great (if a bit lacking in areas), it runs great, and... that's about it.
Played as a Dwarve Warrior that SOMEHOW uses magical weapon attacks, so combat was not designed properly and broke DA lore.
Rook is an empty shell, whom only serves to lead a group on a mission. I hated their "character".
Disliked all the companions. They all paled in comparison to DA: Inquisition. I also only did Neve and Hardings quests, since there were our starting buds, so I felt obligated. The team meetings and downtime conversations were woeful corporate adult-sitting sessions.
The main story is VERY WEAK. It really didn't deserve massive amount of effort the ending scenario received.
But, worst of all; They did Solas dirty...
It's a fine game, but a horrible Dragon Age.
5/10 experience, for me.
