quick question about a boardquest. this pawn guild quest to kill a cyclops (which gives the silver idol, I cant get the gold idol anymore I fucked the escort up apparently), I know where its done, but will a main story quest send me to the same place later? It seems like it would so I just want to check so I dont have to go there twice

So I've been progressing through quests and stuff, and I just finished the Everfall quest. Except now apparently I've failed the "Lost and Found" quest to find Quina. :/ I didn't know that certain quests could be locked out if you progress too far. Now I'm thinking about restarting and making sure I do the quest before.

Yeah, this happens quite a bit throughout the game. It's not a bad idea to look up at what point certain quests will fail. There like 3 or 4 quests in the game that cause a bunch of quests to fail if you haven't finished them.

Damn. Yeah, I think I'll restart and look them up. Thankfully I wasn't too far into the game.
Yeah I'm level 40 and I'm only just about to finish my second vocation, being able to switch freely seems cool at first until you find out it takes ages to get the actual good abilities.
Something else to do for NG+ I guess.

I tried it for like 10 minutes and just no. Maybe its my "normal rpg / mmo" mindset, maybe I just really like the class I usually use, whatever it is, I cba leveling sorceror just to have the magick augments for my magick archer. I just wont min max, im sure you can still totally finish the game without it anyway

I just switched her to Mage from Ranger last night so you might want to put her in the back of the queue until I can get a chance to update her inclination and level her vocation a bit later tonight.

I had played both console versions offline, so I had no idea pawn hiring gave away so much rift crystals. I got over 100k in the last couple days...

Grigori. The guards near the castle will attack you on sight and respawn forever, so you can hop on a wall and let your pawns do all the work for like 30min. Equip Asura's Armor if you have it to speed it up.

Loving the game so far. Last night I was finally able to put down that teleport thing and finish the 3 escort quests to Shadow Fort. One of them gave me an awesome longsword.
Now I'm trying to get some Warrior augments for my Assassin Arisen, while I'm trying Fighter for my main pawn. Still can't decide if I prefer her as a Warrior or as a fighter. I save her as a Warrior at the inn for now, but mostly because I have all the skills I want her to have and she has the awesome longsword from the escort quest.

I do and it doesn't do anything. it just sits fully charged forever. Can't do any action except jump to cancel out of it.
Could be some kind of double input happening if you're using ds4. Try restarting ds4windows/unplugging etc.
Is this better than the deband shader in Gedosato?
Haha maelstrom is terrible on a support pawn anyway, love it when I'm climbing an enemy and then suddenly can't see anything

There is a free liquid vim in the encampment where you can rest, every few days.
Warrior, warrior, warrior, mage.
I only see 40 pawns from my friend list, and 2 friends can't see my pawn in their list
Also, regarding post-gameAny tips for Ur-Dragon? I'm level 47 and I don't think I even scratched him.
Also, should I do BBI right now? Or focus on Ur-Dragon first?
Depends, are you online? Because you aren't supposed to be able to kill it, eventually it will spawn with low enough health that even a lvl1 character can kill it in a single hit.
Offline should be perfectly killable at 47.

They don't, only if you go and visit the duke (which you can completely skip btw, but it's a great scene for the story).
And they also don't follow you into the pawn guild because pawns (storywise) protect the arisen at all cost, doesn't matter who the fuck you are, they would demolish the guards trying to get in there.

As long as I can go to the inn to change vocation I will be fine.
can I change vocation in BBI? that will be even better.

The inn moves into the pawn guild, and yes you can do everything inn-wise in BBI

I've got a level 40ish max vocation fighter, with utilitarian/scather with a bit of challenger (all other inclinations wiped via potions).
Sorry about my weak ass gear - even though I'm in the 40s, I'm not very far in the game. I've basically just been roaming around killing stuff
