I like the second half of Cameras, and he definitely has that flow going through the entire song.. you can tell Drake's put a lot of effort into stepping the presentation of his raps up on Take Care from songs like Cameras and Marvin's Room.

It's just, I don't even know how to imagine why he's on the track. What did he accomplish? Does birdman have so much clout in TORONTO that Drake needed him to come in and rep for him? Was he supposed to throw down a verse and he just laid that shit on the track and they didn't even question him? Did he show up late and take over the studio just before the track was about to be mastered and just puke up some real stunna shit just to say baby father did somethin? The mind boggles.

As a dude from Toronto, i gotta love drake.

Birdman is really scary to me. I have no idea what hes talking about 90% of the time

GQ: You've stayed tight with Drake ever since—you almost never work with other artists, and when you do, Drake's involved.

Noah "40" Shebib: That's my own personal prerogative. The Jamie Foxx record ["Fall For Your Type"] or Alicia Keys record ["Un-thinkable (I'm Ready) (Remix)"] I did, Drake wrote. The record I did for Trey Songz was a Drake song. The record I did for Wayne was for Drake at first but Wayne hijacked it. They're all related to Drake. I've never, thus far, gone outside of working with him. I'm a pretty loyal person and I feel like we have a lot of work to do and when we get an opportunity to rest and when I can go other places, I will, but thus far, I've focused on Drake and we just haven't stopped working, to be honest. When it comes to this project, one ended and the other started. So if Jay-Z or Alicia Keys is knocking on the door, I would work with anyone who wants to work with me and humbled by the opportunities I've received, but I've been stubborn to finish Drake's new album first. This is my responsibility and I take a lot of pride in that.

GQ: You seem more excited releasing Take Care than you were with Thank Me Later. Do you have any regrets with your last album?

Drake: No, I never regret. It did amazing things for my career and as a sonic composition, I'm still proud of it. It was just very weird to make an album, for sale, in four months on a tour bus. It wasn't So Far Gone. So Far Gone was my first album, so I felt like it was unfair to me. Like damn, I just made So Far Gone. Now I have to come right back out with another piece.

GQ: So rank them, if you will, best to worst: So Far Gone, Thank Me Later, and Take Care...

Drake: It's hard for me to put So Far Gone second because it's the first time anyone ever really paid attention or heard me. But I'm going to be honest with you, Take Care, then So Far Gone, then Thank Me Later...

So I've been looking through the production credits in the booklet and Noah 40 Shebib produced or co-produced every track except Lord Knows (Just Blaze), a lot of amazing beats on the album. He has my respect
 
This album is pretty damn nice. I waited a while to see how it would fair after a few days since I get tired of things rather quickly, but it really comes across as good music above all else. His lyrical work goes over much better on certain songs than others, but it feels like he is never out of line with what the tone of the song is. It comes across as it should. Yeah, Lord Knows is outstanding, but I really feel Crew Love as well just as much, though for different reasons.

Good shit Drake...good shit indeed.
