I'm relatively new to GAF myself, but I know for a fact that OTs are always started one week before launch. DC launches October 7th AFAIK. Today is 9/17. Do the math.

I tried to keep up with this game because I genuinely have an interest in playing it, not perpetuating the stupid console war dipshittery your post does nothing but continue to promote. I understand if people are defensive on all sides because of the last year or so being so ridiculous with the sniping and constant trolling, but let's not take every post, no matter who it comes from, as a potential attack and then proceed to create this absurd 'us or them' bullshit when it's not even really warranted.

You did not ask for more information. You made a statement that there was no information, and blamed Sony for the lack of it. Then you make a bunch of assumptions, despite plenty of information about the game existing.

You posts are completely worthless. Rather than owning up to your mistake, you try to pass it off. You blame the lack of a cohesive Neogaf thread (OTs don't exist until a week before a game launches). You blame your lack of knowledge on the game on Sony and it's marketing. You act like the information isn't out there, rather than making the token effort to look it up, so I find it extremely hard to believe that you are actually looking forward to the game, or have any interest in it other than to casually troll it.

Here's a question. I have no idea how many cars there are in Forza Horizon 2. Does that mean Microsoft is doing a completely shit job of marketing it?
 
Looks nice I guess. A bit hard to tell from the gifs and low quality streams. Lightning looks great! I think only project cars does this better and it's definitely more realistic looking. It's hard to compare though because i haven't actually played this. Tracks, assets are a bit low/mediocre quality looking here but i don't think it matters because you are meant to go fast and not stop and look around. This game is definitely made to look good in high speed. Track design is very good and varied for arcade racer.

Can we also get an AirClub DLC so we can just fly through these environments?

Aren't these like real backgrounds, like you can literally walk to the top of those mountains in the background or anything that is visible? IIRC Evo said they are not some static images correct? I wish this engine is used in some fantasy RPG game with real time weather.

That's right, it is all 3D objects. I doubt if you got there that the really distance stuff would look too great but still looks good at the distance you can see it from!

Love the lighting of this game. I don't even play racers usually but DC will be mine, I feel.
 
The game is giving me a Sega Rally kinda vibe.
I hope Single player is fun, the only racing game I was ever competitive and enjoyed online was Motorstorm PR, and that was because the community didn't take itself too seriously.
 
It looks awesome. I am glad because now I am going to be flush with racers. Time to break out the wheels. Wheels plural because from what I understand there isn't a wheel that works on both the Xbox One and PS4? Am I right on that?
 
I must be honest, I did not have faith in this game, but with more and more info, screens and gifs I am interested. I was planning on getting Project Cars but I think I will need to get this too.

There will be the Fanatec CSW v2 that should support both but it's looking to cost about the same as a Thrustmaster TX + T300.
