I doubt private lobbies is something they would be showing behind closed doors? lol

Rushy has spoken. No crashes = licensing reasons.
Oops. Didn't mean to steal your thunder. Rushy is cool though, love how he engages with fans.yeah he just answered me on twitter..
So what's the reason then? That seems realistic given the game has a PEGI 3 rating, while for instance Burnout Paradise and Split/Second both have a PEGI 7 age rating, MotorStorm has a 12 rating and both its sequels have a 16 rating.

I wish they let you ride one bike on one track so I can get a feel for them before deciding to purchase the DLC

Driveclub Bikes PS+ Edition Confirmed.
Both RIDE and MotoGP games have a PEGI rating of 3.
Don't think I'll get this without crashes. What's the point of trying to play on the edge if you can never fail and go past it? It needs the risk to achieve the reward.
Well, they don't want to call it #DRIVECLUB DONORCYCLES.Rushy has spoken. No crashes = licensing reasons.
No, I had just seen the thread. It was a legit question sorry you're butthurt by itYou've been holding onto that shitty joke for a while, haven't you?
Weather and clouds dialed back. I wonder how much? Hopefully they sort out rear view mirrors for the final game.

EDIT
Here it is:
http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2...on-playstation-vr-and-its-mightily-impressive
in contrast to the 30fps the base game runs at - with the car count being reduced from 12 to eight competitors, and with some trackside detail and the nuances of the weather and cloud system being dialled back. The rear-view mirrors were also disabled, though that's something that Evolution would like to address before any final release.
Early stages of development..
No rear-view mirrors and VR it's not a good idea.
Reminds me a LOT of MotoGP'07's "extreme races".
Handling is perfect for an arcade racer, quite nimble even.
Been trying to double tap the throttle to initiate a powerslide, but it's very slight.
I'll probably play twice as much with the bikes as I have with the cars.
God I WISH the Milestone bike games looked anywhere near this good. Playing the same bikes in Ride is just jarring. Without hyperbole, it looks like a generation ahead. But Milestone games have always been a bit behind on graphics, so it's nothing new.The amount of details on these bikes is mind boggling.
Is this really still unavailable in NA? smh.
yeah he just answered me on twitter..
I'm sorry what does that mean with the crashes?
there are no crashes.. you just "bump" into the obstacles and get a time penalty..
I think it's amazing how Evolution were able to turn this game around. It went from being a disaster at launch, to a game I have no issues recommending and it's still expanding. Fantastic work.
Amazing job. Good job Rushy!

The licensing part
Did it get expanded to 60fps?
What's this difficulty settings speculation about? Just more challenging AI or actual disabling of assists?
The licensing part
the manufacturers of the bikes do not want people to smash then in a game. So when they licensed the bikes for the game they made sure the developers avoided crashes.
Holy shit, 60 fps and VR? Wasn't expecting that!
Lol! It did!
It says its unavailable for purchase because I own Driveclub. Is there a trick to getting it?No, I was able to download it and start yesterday afternoon.
Doesn't Ride feature crashing bikes?
Wait, what. Is Bikes 60fps?
