Someone do reccomend a case for the system, import and domestic. I've been looking around but there aren't any impressions on them and I'm a bit hesitant on importing one and/or getting one from the local US companies.

i've also been using a Clie multifunction stylus pen for the majority of my touch screen operation. Much more comfortable than the standard stylus.

I've yet to get my third unit, I'll get with it later on, regardless though I'm rather frustrated with all of this so far. Though, besides these problems have had none of the apparent "common" problems (dead pixels, touch screen issues). I have found the the two units are pretty different. My first one had no obvious screen protection on the touch screen, it was crystal clear, like the top screen, and got glare scratches. My second unit has a grainy looking bottom screen and has little to no friction when using the stylus, and it's pretty much impossible to scratch.
