I was worried about physical game conservation using keycards. Luckily someone advised me to switch to PC where there is no physical option at all and you don't even have the option of reselling. Truly solid advice.

As they were manufacturing the cartridges themselves, they had total control over the releases... and some publishers like Konami had to create other trademarks to release more games.

Like i can look and say "yep, this will be bad for some people" but the day has yet to come where they do something that really affects me at all.
I just wanna play some games I like, nothing they have done has got in the way of me doing that at att.
They are "salt farmers". They were going after Sony the entire time Xbox was collapsing and ever since Switch 2 was revealed it became the hot new target so they complain about everything.
Nintendo don't care they will just carry on and not mention about cards or pricing and think they no best and everyone will fall into line, cause of the success of the switch Nintendo won't think about the Wii u they on a high thinking everyone will buy what ever they put out and whatever price , for me will always be physical if it available, and now things like shinobi which id have got on switch will just buy on ps5

When other companies' alternate solution to no physical is digital only with no way to resell, Nintendo inserts an in-between solution that you can resell a digital equivalent, doing something pro consumer actually but that's not what YouTube grifters are drumming.

You believe that OP is not suffering from NDS, and anyone who thinks so is suffering from NDFD? Because that it how it appears by posting this as a response.
Reading the symptoms of both conditions, I think most reasonable people will land somewhere between the two. Yet, almost everyone with either condition insists that everyone else must fall into one of these extremes; the person with NDFD decides what level of accountability should result in a NDS label that day in that thread and vice versa. (It will always be whatever is on display, of course. For example, pointing out this blatant NDS means we get a NDFD jpeg reply with devil horn emoji).
If the definition of NDS is so subjective that we can't even objectively agree that a ragebait Youtuber who begins his video listing off transgressions like "having to go online to download a patch" falls under it, then what use are posting the definition of these terms? Completely useless other than as a context-sensitive "gotcha".

This is not an accurate statement.
You may not like the decisions they made, but Nintendo is anything but dumb. The GKC decision was to keep cost down and maximize return on cartridges. High storage cards cost more cutting into profit margins, so just putting an entitlement on the card saves money and increases margin.
