I'm going to buy one just to feel better than anybody else.
I really like the controller but those plastic bits where you index and middle finger rest can be uncomfortable and was something I noticed within 20 minutes of using it. I was even considering filing that shit down. It's because of the fucked up weight distribution, most of the weight is in the top area with the triggers instead of properly balanced, also all that rumbling and trigger force can fatigue your hands in ways you don't directly notice adding to this discomfort. Some people on here also mention the way the controller curves down there is a slight lip on the plastic edges making that uncomfortable, there are multiple sources here.
After playing on my friend's PS5 for a long time I find the weight distribution of the controller really makes it less than ideal for very long sessions.
I do this fairly often. Depends on the game.List of PC games that support haptics.
It's a mixed bag, mostly FPS games, but if you're on a PC and use a controller for FPS games you're a bad person.
199 dollars including tax vs 240 euros.
Fuck you Sony.
Elite Core is brand new too, and only came with an RRP of £114.
Sony are pushing it IMO, hate to be the meme master, but smells of launch PS3 era the current pricing strategy.
Once you get used to a controller like this you wont use a standard controller again, especially if you play shooters
Woah it's £210 in the UK
Yeah now this knowledge has come to light I'm not so keen now. That's pretty bad.Just as a point of comparison; the Elite has 2 extra paddles, comes with a premium charging stand and also has a real world 40 hour battery life. I can’t believe this has the same 10 hour battery as the base Dualsense.
Just to note sorry, I’ve only seen that on reeee and plebbit but I’ve not actually seen it directly from Sony, so it could be that there’s a better battery life.Yeah now this knowledge has come to light I'm not so keen now. That's pretty bad.

Examples: FEAR = KB+M. Battlefield = Controller
Stop playing with my potential impulsive purchase you monster.Just to note sorry, I’ve only seen that on reeee and plebbit but I’ve not actually seen it directly from Sony, so it could be that there’s a better battery life.
No but from Sonyium240 euros? Is it made out of gold?
I feel like some games are just better suited for controllers, CoD being one, Gears another and I could never imagine a Driving game on KB and Mouse100% depends on the game. I play a lot of Warzone and I want to play on Mouse and Keyboard and I often do but Aim Assist on the controller is sssoooo outrageous that I always end up going back to it.

Can’t even deny it, had to return my first because the A button didn’t work. QC is in the bin with these things.Would agree with you but the Elite is infamous with its issues so they have premium everything except the controller itself, which is what matters the most. Also my name is Mo.

Especially if you keep moving aim assist gets stronger as compared to camping100% depends on the game. I play a lot of Warzone and I want to play on Mouse and Keyboard and I often do but Aim Assist on the controller is sssoooo outrageous that I always end up going back to it.
Especially the bumpers on the elite are very thin fragile POS that I had to "upgrade" in 2 controllersWould agree with you but the Elite is infamous with its issues so they have premium everything except the controller itself, which is what matters the most. Also my name is Mo.
I can confirm. I got the metal back paddles (prefer them over the plastic ones they can crack). It was $40 and it took 30 minutes to install, still running strong after 1+ years.$200? No, thanks. I'll stick with https://extremerate.com/. Their PS4 back button mod was a cheap and easy install. I assume their PS5 is just as good.
Just forgot to note that my father's name isn't Salah.
oh god that rotational aim assist is basically cheating lolEspecially if you keep moving aim assist gets stronger as compared to camping
Are these any good? I mainly just want a back button attachment. This thing looks like it invalidates the warranty immediately and looks like a pain to install. But if they’re decent it could be an option.$200? No, thanks. I'll stick with https://extremerate.com/. Their PS4 back button mod was a cheap and easy install. I assume their PS5 is just as good.
from the MS store?I looked up the price of an Xbox Elite Series 2 in UK and it was 159. Why is DS Edge so much more expensive in UK?
