Not just stabbed in the back, but stabbed by a tiny knife that caused him to die immediately, where as Jon Snow died like Caesar long and slow from longer knives
Or Arya, who later the same season is nearly disemboweled in an ambush by the Waif, then falls into a filthy city canal with her multiple gaping wounds, and winds up walking away from it and easily recovers.
OMG! I was watching Maria la del barrio when I was in South America a few years ago but couldn't remember the name of the show.

So some reporters are overheard talking on a plane, some people start to panic that there is a terrorist attack, then one of them has an attack of conscience and patriotism and tells everyone some classified information? Is that it?
It's a bit corny but I don't think it's the dumbest scene ever.

It's kinda stupid, but hardly the dumbest scene in television history. I suspect it's not even the dumbest scene in The Newsroom. Like, I don't understand why people are losing their minds over it many pages later.

He is overcome looking at the pilot's gear/apparel and becomes super-solemn and with great gravity tells some random guy that Osama was killed FOR HIM. Then these two randos swap a frat-boy level bro shake in response. It's the most asinine jingoistic pandering thing I've ever seen, and I'm amazed you are nonplussed by it.

It is kind of a bizarre non-sequitor. Why would you shake your co-pilot's hand if a journalist told you Osama Bin Laden was dead? I've received all kinds of good news in my life, and never once was I motivated to shake a friend or co-worker's hand in triumph.

I think the heart scene is dumber, but the Newsroom bit is stupid, is cringe-worthy in delivery, and works on absolutely no level that I can fathom from my position East of the Atlantic. It's really, really, bad.

Airline pilots weren't exactly Osama's biggest fans. It's a bit of an odd situation, but within the context of 9/11 and the reaction to the President announcing that Bin Laden had been killed, it makes sense. Over dramatic and a bit sloppy, but not the worst thing ever.

I don't think I've ever seen unintentional comedy pulled off so well.
the characters have spent the entire series locked up trying to perfect a synchronised dance that will unleash a power that they will need for some unknown event in the future. What happens is they perform a dance in front of a school shooter to distract him while some random guy hits the shooter with a tray.

Also didn't Dexters kid got recasted like 4 times and all of them were just props instead of characters? The kids couldn't even speak and if I recall correctly were dubbed with fake kid voices.
