E3 2014 | Nintendo Treehouse Live @ E3 [ it's over :( ]

For people who are worried that the game will be limited to what is shown here. You guys are crazy. Nintendo has been packing in content in all their games lately.

Damn cool! The possibilities are endless. Definitely sold on this game now.

WHAT!? Hahaha, Man, too bad I missed that, I can imagine all the rage. Why that person posting that tought it'll be a good idea?

It was pretty funny. I'm sure he knew he'd get banned. Just probably thought it was worth it.

Tezuka just sitting here. They could have utilized him a bit more IMO.

madam please translate for mr tezuka he was just sitting there not understanding a thing.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. He looked hella bored.

:(. Bah, hopefully one of the other days then. I can't imagine the only footage they're going to show was the one in the Direct, but who knows.

He said the game was in full development and was expecting it to be finished about a year from now, so I imagine it might show up in a direct later this year. We can always hope it shows up before the week is over :)

Mario Maker is cool. Hope the final product we get more stuff and backgrounds plus a lot longer level.

The levels looked bite sized.

Edit: Splatoon may ruin what's been a good E3 showing by Ninty!

Mario Maker seems pretty fun, and also seems like it's going to cut out the annoying parts of level creation as well. Good job Nintendo.

Yeah now they need to have a few things to make it something truly special:

  • Have every element from NSMBU in
  • Ability to compose your own music like in Mario Paint
  • Level sets you can share through Miiverse
  • Different tile sets from different Mario games

I'm more excited about Mario Maker than any games so far. As a 'masocore' platformer fan, I can't wait to play the monsters that other people make and upload (... I'm guessing it'll have that function).

I hope you can use all the stage themes from Mario 1, and have them in a playlist.

I love how you can hear the producers on the open mics, the little "woo hoo"s of the hosts as they end. It's adorable!
