E3 GAF Final bets

I'm all in on a new Mach Rider co-developed by Rockstar Games exclusive for Switch.

Was part of my full bets sheet in the EZA Final Bets thread but regardless:

A new arcade-style motorcross game will be announced on stage, with a focus on tricks and freestyle. Tony Hawk style trick inputs, no stick shenanigans other than flips and rolls
 
Safe Bet: Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will release in 2017 and will get a blowout trailer at E3

Semi Safe Bet

Dark Souls Trillogy for Switch
Steep GotY Switch
Sony will announce a new game that we wont play for 3+ years but everyone will be realy excited about it.


Hopeful but doubtful

Sony will announce the PS5 and it will be released late 2018 early 2019.

Definitely not happening.

Final Fantasy Versus 13 Ligntning returns again is announced.

It is a beatemup/CAG/Fighter starring Lightning having to travel into various other final fantasy worlds and fight other FF characters to save the world/universe/friendship
 
Scorpio will be $399

Nintendo will announce a new Metroid (fps)

Sony will announce a new Legend of Dragoon

Nintendo and PlayStation will announce a partnership to combine ecosystems and share the same games & hardware in the future.
 
I did a much crazier 'never going to happen' bet in the EZA thread but another good one I've got is...

Kingdom Hearts 3 will have a new trailer, that trailer will show a new world based off of either Marvel or Star Wars, and will have a long form release date (season and year)
 
If a new Banjo shows up I'll use a Phil Spencer avatar for a year. I'm willing to use the most ridiculous and crow-eating avatar possible, I'll even accept anyone making one for me.

Safe: Monster Hunter XX Switch Ver. is getting an August 25th worldwide release

Semi-safe: Bloodborne 2 announcement, trailer, late 2018 release. Also, Dark Souls 3 + DLC on Switch early 2018.

Not safe at all: Pokemon Eclipse (Ultra Sun/Moon Switch Version) exists, gets announced at the Nintendo Direct on Tuesday
 
Nintendo will port Mario Maker over to Switch.

Microsoft will reboot Mech Assault, and it will be a Scorpio showpiece.

Sony releases Twisted Metal VR.
 
Safe bet :
Mario Oddysey release date( Specific date not month) and new amiibo bundle.
Nintendo will talk about Virtual Console for more then 1 minute but less then 3.

Mid-tier bet:
Gamecube Virtual Console and Luigi's Mansion will be one of the first ones.
Mass Effect trilogy HD
Bayonetta shown in any form, Deluxe or Sequel

Out of this world bet:
Spyro HD or Remake. Sony Exclusive.
New Harry Potter Game.
 
If KH3 gets a new trailer with a release window @ this E3 I will get naked for 1 lucky gaffer!

Guaranteed: Nintendo is going to spend way too damn much time on that Rabbids game.

Middling: Retro is gonna show off a not-Metroid game. New shit, not the donk this time.

Hazardous: A non-cancelled Legacy of kain game.

If I lose any of these I'll change my avatar to an anime waifu or something.

I bet nintendo wont say a word about virtual console and well be left wondering until we realize the classic games library is the new virtual console and the trickle out of titles will be slow and rarely the games you want.

Nintendo won't show Metroid. I do expect some kind of left field surprise outside of Rabbids though.

Expecting more Crash news outside of the trilogy at Sony's conference.

Banjo will absent from Xbox's conference yet again.

I like it, I would love to take this bet, but I love Twisted Metal and Warhawk so much, I will never bet against them.



I hope you are right, but I hope Warhawk comes EVEN MORE! Whether a remaster, a remake, or a new game, I need Warhawk back in my veins. It is, simply put, the best online PS3 game, the best sound design on a PS3 game (seriously, the sound design in Warhawk is amazing).

Yesssssssssss. With Crash and Bubsy coming back, the Legacy of Kain rumors, the Final Fantasy remakes and remasters- the PS1 and PS2 era is so hot right now. Warhawk and Twisted Metal need to come back. They were PlayStation icons. The world needs to bask in their glory once again.
 
My first bet is that I will change my avatar to Dwayne Johnson as a chef cooking a pot of chili if Warner Bros announces a Rampage movie tie in game starring The Rock at any conference.

I will change my avatar praising EA as a caring and compassionate company if they announce a new Road Rash or Mutant League game

I will shave my head if Sega announces a new Vectorman, Panzer Dragoon or Shinobi game.

I will lose 30 lbs if Nintendo announces a new Startropics or if Neversoft is allowed to make their own games again.

I will record myself karaoke singing "There's No Easy Way Out" from the Rocky IV soundtrack If Konami announces a new Jackal game
