No ...it's called an opinion and if you don't like it ....well what can I say but go cry in the corner. I only give my opinion on MGS when someone else compares it to another game and try to make it like its a god like series.

Here is a little project for you. Try and find one of my opinions, JUST ONE in a MGS topic. If I trolled MGS so much, then you won't have any problems finding any of my opinions about MGS in a topic created just for MGS. Go ahead and find just one and put a link to it also.

Back on topic: First day purchase for me. Cross between Event Horizon, The Thing and Aliens. All great movies. This year will be tough on the pocket book...

How much did your penis swell up calling me a kid and child. So you played it afterall and proved you just have horrible taste instead, grats, punk. The majority of people who played it would probably disagree with you, and there's more than enough gameplay in it, you ran with the "movies lol" troll so what do you expect? I'm probably older than you anyways.

Hey, let's make baseless assumptions! In my experience, most people thought the game was good but were pissed off by all the cutscene stuff (namely the feeling that all the cool stuff was in the cut-scenes and that they broke the pacing of the game). The problem is that all I have is anecdotal evidence (same as you), so I am not going to say one way or another whether the game was good or not, just that it didn't have huge amounts of content (which I can back up). It is worth noting that you go right to the "lulz, troll" mode rather than actually trying to put up any argument of your own.

Yeah, that's another thing I like about this game. That sexy hud system. It doesn't really take you out of the game and to me, it actually immerses you more in the game. And getting the health of the character across to the player with the changing color in his suit/armor is a nice touch also. I hope a demo for this game gets released. Looks like a spooky October this year with this and hopefully in the same month, Project Origin...
 
I really like what I've seen of this game. I can't help but think EA is going down the right path trying to IPs and building passionate teams around said IPs.
I'll be there day one and I don't even like horror games, what they've shown looks to build on so many previous media and lots of interesting takes on gameplay that I'm interested.

I'm actually doing a comfy couch setup where I have my PC, 360 and PS3 all hooked up to the HDTV. Its going to be pretty awesome being able to play true hd games (ie. PC) from my couch.

Agreed. Game looks fantastic. The gameplay concepts are in line. The story looks interesting. The tension seems apparent. The only killers could be lack of content or poor pacing or collision. Its definitely got that "The Thing" vibe locked up. As long as it doesn't do too much of the Doom 3 "closet monster" crap, it should be pretty awesome. Keep the story flowing, the characters abilities evolving and the sequences consistent and interesting and it will be a fantastic title.

I liken it to Dark Sector which started out strong and then lost its punch a few hours in because it didn't evolve very far and there were not enough surprises. Plus the story was thin as paper. Which isn't to say it was a bad game cause I loved it. It just could have really been a lot more than it ended up becoming and I just hope DS doesn't end up wearing the same ugly hat.
