cannot breath, hahahahaha

Actually, that is exactly why. It's called having a biased opinion. You may have an educated, rational opinion on soccer, but you will always have a bias towards your team and you will always defend said team. That's why fan is short for fanatic.
So if I use any other avatar, does my opinion become more valid automatically?

Also, that's Kirby in my avatar and and I don't own or want a WiiU and I think it has serious issues that will prevent it from being a success. But hey, if avatar-filtering works for you...

Well this is getting ridiculous, and I don't mean just this tweet or this thread, but all the threads of today. Guys, gals, it was just a Direct about summer titles, hell it's not even E3 yet!

I'm enjoying my WII U plenty since launch..

Not going to lie i would love an NHL 14 on Wii U but other than that i could care less about EA's titles.

When EA makes games as prolific as nintendo then talk..

Nothing they've ever created comes close to captivating the minds nintendo has with their big titles.

I do agree with the hardware statement to a degree.. would be nice for nintendo to go cutting edge technology again.

Wouldn't really be a terrible thing for them to be bought out by sony or MS.. Hey even Apple

It's obviously a joke. Are you really upset about it? I can't imagine that really. Americans are more sensitive to things like this though, maybe that explains the outrage over this tweet. In my country saying "fuck" on tv or raising a middle finger doesn't even raise an eyebrow.

Not really. Ever been to America? People don't give a fuck.

This topic has now lost all meaning.

Nintendomination made a profit from providing Nintendo fans video coverage of Nintendo games. He was financially tied to Nintendo's success, so he had every right to provide a admirably funny rendition of a Nintendo die-hard's reaction to EA.

Also, these threads are all going to feature the same argumentation patterns from here on out, which is really too bad. I think GAF truly fails when it enters this type of discourse. Some great fountain of gaming knowledge we are not.

Tenses, bro.

Of course not. I only noticed a correlation between those with Nintendo avatars defending Nintendo. Are you saying you haven't noticed that?

Well I don't have one and I defend them, mostly only because it seems like a lot of nonsense and the same misinformation thrown around, and i'd like at least ONE console to be around making high quality games that everyone can play. I have my PC for me, but my kid won't be getting on Xbox live. ever. lol.

It works backwards. Some people will defend Nintendo (because seriously, why does everyone have to agree with EA?), it's likely that some of them will have Nintendo avatars. Not sure if you have noticed but plenty of people defending Nintendo are claiming to own a WiiU -don't- have Nintendo avatars.

You'd wrongly assume I own a WiiU, for example.

Sounds to me like you have thin skin and are being insulted by something quite trivial.

I really wonder if GAF members literally followed every single video game industry employees on twitters. I bet it's just a matter of time before a tweet from a Janitor at Ubisoft launches a thread with a thousand pages.
