We are getting some tonight, and I'm in North Texas. This winter has been freaking weird. Today and tomorrow like 25F with snow, then this weekend and next is suppose to be almost 70 degrees.

Sterling says we'll get 4 to 8 in the DC area. I'm sort of hyped but ready to get my snow dreams crushed once again. Last week's stuff melted too quickly.

We're being advised to telework tomorrow.

First tragedy, then farce.
NYC here... so far the glut of winter storms has been a total miss.

I keep getting prepared for a blizzard. Firewood, food, water.. and then nothing and I'm at work by 8AM the next day :(

I was driving from DC to NYC Sunday night when Sparta or whatever it was hit. New Jersey put up giant flashing signs to drive 35 MPH on the Turnpike... and there was nothing but a little bit of light rain and a dusting of snow when you got to Newark.

In the DC metro area here. This winter blows, but if it means I get a day at home with my g/f than I'm OK with this.

...I'll prob. still have to work from home..

g/f? O:

Man, we're supposed to get 4-8 inches. DC is always horribly prepared, at least judging from the past storm. :S

I like my winters so that if its freezing as hell in the DC area I would like to have lots of snow else I feel rage enough to flip some smartcars...

Local weather is calling for a coating here (Connecticut). Thank goodness. I am so over the snow. I have a 10 foot pile at the bottom of my property :(

On the bright side, the 10 day forecast is showing 50!!

More?! We had to shovel last night after taking two hours getting home (usually takes 30 minutes) and then this morning because the driveway was a sheet of ice and the plow had left a mound of snow at the foot of the driveway

Why did we move to Upstate NY again?

This poster pulses with an appeal so broad the typical restraints of our societies fall by the wayside.
Boston only needs two inches to break our all-time record for snowiest winter. Probably won't happen tonight, but we better make it, damn it.

In Boston, we've gotten to the point that people are disappointed that this storm is going to kind of be a bust for us.

We need like 2 inches for the record, and we're supposed to get less than an inch.

Western Maryland, I don't know about this snowstorm but I am going for a walk later as it hasn't been as cold the last few days.

i've been begging for over 5 years.
Started here about an hour ago. Only small flakes for now. I guess we missed the sleet/freezing rain that was supposed to come first.

Really it's February that's the killer. Next week is supposed to be in the 50s in NYC.

Not getting sucked into this again. Last year we had a beautiful weekend in March and then got pissed on with another 2 weeks of shit weather.

if it's 50 I'll have to prepare myself for freezing cold NJT and scorching hot subway rides to work.

Maybe 2-5in for Providence. With a snowpack of around 15-18in right now, what's another 2-5 on the ground. Not like it matters. We'll have snow on the ground until March is over. Haven't seen the grass of my yard since late-January.

Yeah, the subway was scorching hot this morning, too, and it was only like 40 degrees. Ugh. We just can't win.
