lolI just realized Ultima BradBrad is basically the Professor from Pokémon SunMoon lol
Yeah. I mean I'm kinda jealous? I wish I still liked the show when it ended the same way I liked it when I first started watching it (heck I wish I still liked it at least).just saying, i can't really see all the hype Kyle and Huber have for naruto. shippudeen wasn't that great, and the last fight oh boy it was bad
Ben, please talk about Yuri on IceLooking forward to the anime show.
Anime might be better than the shitty manga.just saying, i can't really see all the hype Kyle and Huber have for naruto. shippudeen wasn't that great, and the last fight oh boy it was bad
Any reason Frame Trap is not on Soundcloud? Its the best way for me to listen to podcasts on terrible commute...
Disney World is a hundred million times better than Land and anyone who tells you otherwise is almost definitely from LA.

I'm from New York and have been to Disney World three times and Disneyland once. I think they both have strengths and weaknesses.
Disney World is awesome for long vacations. You need at least 5-7 days to at least touch on every park. You're not going to go on every single ride unless you have excel spreadsheets of schedules and routes, but it's going to be an incredible time. It really is a world of magic. All the hotels are different and are each worthy of a walkthrough. Staying in a Disney Resort means you're going to be inundated with Disney almost 24/7 during your stay. It really engulfs you into a world of Disney, and that's amazing.
It's weakness also comes from its strength. It's HUGE. It can be tiring and overwhelming to try to get to everything. That's where Disneyland's strength comes in.
Disneyland is amazing in its own right. But where it really shines is how manageable that place, even with California Adventure. Get a two-park day pass and you'll get on almost everything in one shot. You can legit walk from Magic Kingdom to California Adventure. The entrances are right across from each other at the end of Downtown Disney (also a ton of fun). I was only there 3 days and did the park one day, but my god was it fun. I stayed at the Grand Californian and it was great. Disneyland is smaller and has less rides, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in being a relaxed environment. You don't need to have a crazy schedule and figure out what you're doing tomorrow at a different park, because you're going to get through 90% of it in one shot. It's great.
It's weird hearing them talk so much about amusement parks. I live in Western Canada and I've never been to an amusement park (unless you count West Edmonton Mall?), nor do I know anyone who's into them. Not hating, it's just not something I ever think about or hear anyone talking about, so it's interesting see Brandon and Ian so into them.
Personally, I don't like the heat, lines, or kids, so I don't think they're for me.
Gonna say Ramsay. Dany hasn't really taken too many long-lasting gut punches, but Ramsay pretty much never took an L at all and basically turned into the plot-pruning device for a show that had grown too many branches. So, rather than figure out well-constructed ends for characters that would involve multiple other characters and scenes, it was sort of just "Welp, let's send them to Ramsay! And then reward him for it!" Which sucks narratively, but I did appreciate it functionally because the show definitely had overextended itself.which Game of Thrones character was Jones referring to in this weeks Frame Trap?
I can forgive Huber and Ian for not liking TLG, they have apologized enough and I believe they're suffering about not being able to love it. I hope Brandon gets around to playing it, I feel he wouldn't like it either but then again Ian's reaction totally surprised me, too. I'm kind of glad that the EZA GOTY's were so soon now because we probably would have ended up with Uncharted winning the big award. It's a totally valid and fine candidate but I love the boldness of giving the win to TLG over the universally loved safe choice of UC4.

To be honest, I thought I would love TLG, but after playing for 2 hours or something I really really dislike (almost hate) the camera/controls (but especially the camera) so it was a very frustrating experience for me.
I know I have to continue playing as the way everything looks and especially Trico itself is amazing, but I just can't get passed the camera.
After 20 minutes of playing the camera got stuck twice for 10 to 20 seconds. Once in the wall and once in the floor.
I am sorry, but for a game which was in development for 9 years and which has a AAA budget this is unacceptable for me. To me it feels and plays like a 15 year old PS2 game. I don't mind stuff like that from an indie with a low budget and a few people working on them (it reminds me of submerged (which I liked) with worse camera and a bit better controls). I have also played Adam's Venture: Origins, which has quite bad controls, but even that one didn't feel that much worse to me thant TLG (at least not camera wise).
The problem is that I keep playing different games because I really did not enjoy playing the TLH although I still want to finish it.
I also really don't get how a game like this can get multiple perfect scores all over the internet (no knock at Bloodworth, but a game with these types of problems can never be perfect in my book). I don't have a problem giving it 4.5 out of 5 stars as I know some people have less problems with these types of things and I am sure the game will get very good storywise and I know games are never perfect. Small problems are fine with me, but especially the camera makes the game almost unplayable for me (and I am playing on a PS4 Pro, so it's not the performance which is the problem).
I started hitman after TLG and now I am playing the Forza Horizon 3 DLC (both are excellent), but I really hope I can get myself to finish TLG before Yakuza 0 comes out, because otherwise I am somewhat afraid I will never get to it anymore (but I could only play the game for half an hour at the time before getting really annoyed by the camera and the controls). Also the save game system is really bad. It doesn't even show when it saves... And with it being checkpoint based, I lost some progress before (which doesn't help me wanting to return to the game).
I was somewhat afraid for the game (I bought my PS3 for TLG (and some other games)), but what a disappointment it is. It feels like it is created for PS2 unfortunately (not graphics wise, I really enjoy how it looks and love the atmosphere). (btw I never played their previous games, which can be the problem was well as they probably are a lot worse camera/control wise). Btw, outside the camera and controls are somewhat ok, it is inside that they are really bad and feel untested.
Btw, excuse me for my rant, but I guess I am too disapointed (I am glad I got it for Christmas instead of using my own money, that's for sure).
Agreed. I wish I could see past it like others can but I found ICO and Shadow totally frustrating. Ian and Huber confirmed my fears about TLG and I will probably stay away from it.Team ico games always have garbage controls.
That's why I don't think shadow holds up. Very frustrating game to play.
I can't speak for the quality directly, as I never played a Team Ico game, but you can be rest assured, the controls - or what is said about them is surely my number one reason to never even try. I probably will at some point - digital, on the cheap - but still, my expectations are really low. Which, considering the critical reception, is kinda crazy.Team ico games always have garbage controls.

Agreed. I think games can be stronger when they are polarizing and not trying to please everyone. I voted for The Witness as my GOTY and I absolutely hated parts of it.It's a totally valid and fine candidate but I love the boldness of giving the win to TLG over the universally loved safe choice of UC4.
