Easy Come Easy Golf (original Everybody's Golf devs) receives surprise Switch update (60 fps, Switch 2 support)

Clap Hanz, original developers of Everybody's Gold, have released an update for their spiritual successor Easy Come Easy Golf on Switch. A pretty obvious shot at the new Everybody's Golf game releasing today, interesting. The update adds a 60 fps mode and support for Switch 2 to display in 1080p, among other improvements. Heard good things about this one actually, and considering the cheaper price point, shoddy performance of the new Everybody's Golf game (which also lacks a Switch 2 version), could be an interesting option for people looking for an arcade golf fix.

That's cool I suppose. I tried to get into this game, but I really didn't like how you were forced to use multiple characters in a single round though...and because most of them aren't locked from the get go, you have to use that stupid looking default dude.

Could have sworn that the base game played better on switch 2... but will definitely check this update out.

ECEG- one of the features I kind of liked was having to assign specific golfers to specific holes on each course.. added another level of strategy.. fun game.

I like this game. It's one of the few to scratch that Mario Golf itch after Toadstool Tour and outdid the actual Mario Golf game on the system. Using different characters for different holes is a pretty fun gimmick even if it ultimately doesn't change that much.
