Heard bad things about Metal Slug but I didn't know it was "4" bad.

It’s got all the gorgeous Metal Slug pixels that I love, but the gameplay is where it falls flat. They should’ve leaned harder into either the tactical combat or the roguelike nature, cause it doesn’t do either one justice.
A shame, it sure does look pretty though!

I loved the shit out of The Case of the Golden Idol and can't wait to get a shot of sardonic humour and general absurdity from what looks like an awesome sequel.

Lego Horizon Adventures - 5

Let me guess the defense... people are mocking a kids game, theres was never much interest on a Lego, etc etc
I wish people decide which comes first, the "high demand for this game" or "it was never intended to sell in the first place". Bonus point for that guy who created a thread about Horizon Lego having "high" demand.

On a sidenote I'm actually astonished that piece of turd Veilguard received a 7. Yuck

Maybe Veilguard is a decent game?
Or maybe professional journos are sellouts, which they actually are, their whole job aka way of living depends on how well games they are reviewing gonna sell/publishers of those game buy ad space after all ;)

Edge is the videogame equivalent of an artsy movie magazine for cinephiles.

Veilguard was Edge's cover two months ago (they got full access to the studio and multiple interviews), and 7 is on the very low end of scores in comparison to other review outlets (eurogamer gave Dragon age a 10/10 for example), so I am not shocked by this score
