Strange Scaffold will release “neo-noir third-person horror shooter / love story” El Paso, Elsewhere for PlayStation 5 on September 6 for $29.99, the developer announced. A physical edition, distributed by Nighthawk Interactive, will also be available, featuring an exclusive poster and a download code for the original soundtrack.

El Paso, Elsewhere first launched for Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on September 26, 2023.

This is kinda ridiculous. I'm playing the game on PS5, since it's the only version on disc, and the game has a known issue that makes it crash every time on chapter 19, i-e you literally cannot proceed forward.

The developers know about the issue, they say they have it fixed in a patch but due to 'reasons' they can't have the patch go live on PSN, they also can't release the game digitally and the people who have it on disc are shit out of luck.

They aim to have more updates in the next 3 weeks or so.
