Oh wow, I speculated the dlc would alter the Lands Between and it looks like the trailer confirms it…No wonder it took so long to develop…Man this year is stacked so far

We already know what this is. A new too hard area. Annoyingly hard area with enemies that scale way beyond ng but with weapons that can’t be too powerful for ng.
As usually it’s going to be awesome but annoyingly difficult.
I never liked the idea that all the souls dlc is is more difficulty. People don’t play this only for difficulty

Why spoil it

so what is it? Doesn't look like anything that could fit in the rumored spot... an alternative reality ground level of heligtree? That would mean part of this could be mountaintops of giants before they froze... Ok maybe it's high time to reinstall the game

Let me guess. This new DLC is a standalone game like xenoblade 3 future redeemed. Nothing carries over.

nvm steam says you need elden ring to play the DLC so not a standalone

More Elden Ring, lot of new weapons/spells/ennemies... The "Street Figther" weapon(spell/weapons art ?) looks cool :)
Art direction is stunning with the Tree and veils.

Fine for me. Despite my complaint about the game, it's still an impressive game. Will start a new character around May for the DLC.

Good trailer. I want more info now as to whether it carries on from our main saves or if it's standalone. Also where do we need to be in the game to access it if it's a continuation. I scoured every inch of that game in 200 hours, went into NG plus and couldnt handle it again. Might start a new character after watching that

The original game was so easy, every half arsed individual could finish it (well, people cried rivers bc ds games were too hard for them). I had to cease playing it because bosses were like street food vendors. Let's hope the average retry count will be 200+ this time.

Messmer the impaler is one of the best design i seen from a FROM game. They definitely took inspirations from Sun Wukong the monkey king.

I don’t think so…..in Xenoblade the DLC is about past and you play as different character than base game.

In Elden Ring you get access the DLC through Mohg’s castle, not in separate menu.
