how long till easy mode beggars come out of the woodwork?

I expect 3 different threads with the follow generic almost AI excuses:

- I don't have time to play games
- I have no interest on investing or "getting gud". I have a life
- Alot of games have, I see no reason why this one shouldn't
- More choices are better
- You guys are a bunch of toxic people trying to exclude the rest of people who would like to play these games
- Here we go with Soul fans , the most noxious fanboys, being petty about their precious game

Can you do one of the opening on horseback?

I think I am going to sit this one out. Don't feel like fighting fire giant with a bigger health bar and more phases. No new weapons or spells are even remotely functionally different from what I have already experienced in the base game and with mods. Also, the DLC seems to add no additional backstory and seems different in tone.

No idea what's going on, no idea what I'm doing in Elden ring either, after a small break.
But can't wait to be confused and enthralled, whilst having anxiety about my build choices.

Someone mentioned Mohgs Castle and I thought I don't remember that. Looked it up and it appears I never found him or fought him. I'm so crap at Elden Ring :messenger_tears_of_joy:

I wonder if my NG+5 character Blodil will get her ass handed to her if I enter the DLC. I remember The Old Hunters DLC being brutal af when using a character that were a couple of cycles in.

Think of it this way.

This DLC will provide you with days of entertainment as you explore new content, areas, enemies, skills and bosses.

Meanwhile, with 10$ you get a skin for one character in Mortal Kombat 1.
And if you spend $25 in CoD, you can get a new character, a couple guns, and some additional useless bullshit.

I mean, I'll buy it anyway, but $40 is in-effin'-sane price tag, especially if they're again will be copy & pasting / reusing "bosses" dozens of times.
I sure hope that From at the very least will expand the already existing map and integrate this DLC into the main game to seamlessly transition from one of the endings into the expansion and continue playing.

The main game's map is gigantic and empty, there's almost nothing there to find and explore beyond groups of enemies, somewhat the same looking dungeons and story locations. The map below is severely underused in comparison to what's on the surface and it'll be cool to see and explore more of what lies bellow along with more and new meaningful content above.

2023 was hype. But very quickly 2024 already has one surefire top 5 release (HD2). This guaranteed banger in June. And in the next month 3 big games all with tons of potential come out (Rebirth, DD2, Ronin)

We're not slowing down.

Which build are you going for?

I Have wings of astel ready with nebula which melts all bosses.

Ice spear is also incredibly strong.

I'll get it and enjoy it for sure. Elden Ring is one of the greatest games I have ever played but I was a little burned out by the end of it. I hope the DLC radically changes gameplay elements to keep it fresh. Because otherwise I wish Fromsoft dedicated these resources to creating another game from the ground up. I get it tho, 25mil people to sell to

Well, it's 40€ on Steam. I hope this a full-blown expansion and not a rip-off.

FROM DLC has historically offered great value for the price.
The DLC is some of their previous games isn't just fairly big but actually adds some of the coolest locations and bosses in their respective games.

I don't see why this would be any different
