Besides god of war and horizon what else is there to challenge a japanese game at a japanese show? Might as well just give it the award. I personally think it's not even the best dark souls game but considering the year is mostly dead for big games, it deserves it.

Same reason a game can win Game of the Year award in November. Halo Infinite will be eligible for GOTY this year at the TGA. Cyberpunk was there in 2021.

Well deserved, I only have one ending left to platinum the PS5 version now.

I don't think I've ever went on this many cycles in anyone of these games (maybe DS1). I platinumed the PS4 version, imported the save to the PS5 version and just kept going to get the trophies for it as well.

Edit: Still a bit wierd to conclude GOTY this early, but at least better than that GOTY award given to Horizon FW from some conferece in like July.

This post would have had his place in the Gow might be a goty but why here if it is not to just shitpost ?If anybody here had mentionned it I 'd understand but it was just gratuitous.
take it as an exemple if I had said something like "better than Halo getting a goty here without even being released" would you think it is a shitpost?
The answers is yes because it is, the main difference is that the shoe is on the other foot, but if I had posted in the Goty vote thread "I don't understand how Halo can become goty without being fully released" then it would've been relevant and fitting the discussion.As for the first about copacetism I absolutely don't care for the people in the trailer thread saying it looks meh, bad or anything, it is everyone's opinion.Just that here is was just a cheap console warrior shitpost that had nothing to do with the topic.
