I needed a good laugh today on my birthday, thanks.

I am certainly biased as a Tekken player but I really think this is an indisputable point. When used optimally, a pad is superior simply due to the smaller range of motion and faster return to neutral. This is especially important in Tekken for the purposes of Korean backdashing and certain character-specific motions however it also applies to Street Fighter as pads offer the ability to return to a charge position more efficiently with the likes of Guile, Rog, etc.

What's the prize for winning the whole enchilada? And are the players paid a salary while there? What about transportation and accommodations? This thing is gonna last weeks. Probably cost prohibitive for the European and Asian players to go home between rounds. Just curious about how these players are paid for an invitational like this.

Surprised info on all reimbursements and pot etc. isn't public? Table scrap leaks from the players on bits of info shouldn't be the way tbh.

Be interesting to see it all. Like Ryan Hart gets accommodation, dat air travel fares and everything paid for or not? Is it only top 3 that get a share of the pot or top 4 etc?
