carpenter is pretty much special teams only. apparently, he's not a fit for the 3-4 even though Parcells drafted him for that. He probably only drafted him because Parcells coached his dad.

the thing that sucks is that most fans wanted Cromartie who went to the Chargers with the pick after us.

i think the main guys of hate are

rodney harrison
vrabel
and wilfork

since they're considered dirty players

I understand definitely understand Harrison and a little less so Wilfork (his stuff always could go either way), but why is Vrabel considered dirty? I don't normally cruise the football threads, but this is the first mention I've heard of this. Am I that out of the loop? Well, what exactly has he done?

So I only recognize two guys from that. Corey Webster and Sam Madison. Who is holding the trophy?

Steve Smith on the far right?

wasn't it wilfork who poked brandon jacobs in the eye in the final game of the season? they should remind jacobs of that so he destroys the pats!
Yeah. That was Vince.

Rodney Harrison also called some Giant players cheap. Osi laughed.

what the patriots did in 2001 was right and just, but they have lost their way. one and done pats, thats all i wanted from you. but you got greedy with 2 more championships. now the giants must end your reign of terror.

vrabel has a lot of late hits after the play and doesn't get called for it. he also dives at people's knees sometimes after the play is over.

I think you are looking at this wrong. If the Pats lose, BB will make it his mission to destroy everyone in the coming years for ruining the chance at perfection. This year has come about all because Indy had to come back last year and win the game. This year has been his revenge. Pats win now BB will have no more reason for revenge and I believe BB will be content leaving someone else to rise and have a shot at some SB wins. BB loses and he will make everyone pay.

I guess I'll have to look for that in the future. And here I thought that he was one of the good guys on the team. Is there a good place to check penalties called on a player?

Corey Webster far left, Aaron Rogers next to him, I believe that is Kevin Dockery holding the trophy due to height issues, Sam Madison in the back, McQuarters right behind Dock, and Michael Johnson on the far right is my breakdown.

Giants secondary what what!

He leg whipped Rivers in his bad leg on that INT play on Sunday.

And you know it was bad when even Simmons admitted he did it.:lol

FYI, new Ravens OC looking to be Cam Cameron.

That's how we roll.

Where are all these so called diehard Pats fans coming from? As far as I remember only Strangelove was here in the beginning. It's just like all the BoSox fans that came out of nowhere.*

Check out Corey Webster breaking it down on the left.

This will be a fantastic game.

I don't want to browse old threads, but I remember that a gaffer said "we will get revenge in the Super Bowl!!" after the Giants lost game 16 to the Patriots. Who was it??

I can't believe we have 12 more days of this garbage.

The NFL is really retarded with their Super Bowl bye week.

Yeah I liked how we (the Bucs) didn't get a Bye.

...for reasons I can't remember.

:lol Ron Jaworski went through ever single snap in the Pats/Chargers game claiming he found the play where Brady "tweaked" his ankle...and you can't tell shit from the video he found. ESPN is such a waste.

Question. Although not directly related to the Super Bowl (well he played NE a couple times), what the hell happened to Mike Vanderjagt? Ever since the Cowgirls cut him I haven't heard a word.

Is a bit of good timing that he gets a boot after he throws three picks and his defense saves the day. Coincidence?

That throwing stick stunt of yours has boomeranged on us.

still waiting by a phone, there is zero interest for him I guess. His agent hads been quoted a couple of times during the season basically saying he was waiting/available.

Hell, he tried to kill Derek Anderson when the Browns were just kneeling after the snap. He's a fuckhead. Easily my most hated player in the NFL.

You sure that wasn't Rodney Harrison or Wilfork or the other 9 dirty players the Pats have on defense?

To be fair, Jaws goes over every single snap of any important game when charting them.:p

Goddammit! ESPN is reporting Mike Smith will be hired today as the head coach of the Falcons.

I loved his work as Jags defensive coordinator.

and Fassel might bring in Billick as OC... so much potential entertainment next season.

Former Miami Dolphins head coach Cam Cameron is at the Ravens' headquarters in Owings Mills today and is negotiating with the team about becoming its offensive coordinator.

A team spokesman said the talks are ongoing. ESPN.com is reporting that Cameron has agreed to a deal in principle, but that has not been confirmed.

Cameron has ties to current Ravens head coach John Harbaugh, who served as a defensive backs and special teams coach when Cameron was the head coach at Indiana University in 1997.

somehow I picture Fassel laughing at Billick and saying "The worm has turned!" like Mr. Burns in the really early years of the Simpsons if that happens.

According to local radio here, the contract negotiations are underway. I don't know what to expect from our new GM or coach at this point.

someone call in and win those wfan superbowl tickets. It's really annoying that only one has won so far and the contest has been going on yesterday.

You have to answer 4 questions and the first one is usually a gimme. Gets really, really difficult past the second one.
