damnit all to hell it looks like Fassel will be the next skins coach if these reports come true. "Fassel, Ryan and Zorn. All of my reporting leads to this trio topping the coaching staff."

Whats funny is this is the exact face I'll make if this comes true.

I wonder where this puts Gregg Williams.

I don't think there is any other head coach job openings are there? I saw ATL got someone, what about Baltimore? I wouldn't be surprised if he takes Rex Ryan's job with Baltimore. He likes the area. Who knows though. I'd rather we just get rid of Al and keep GW as HC and bring in Zorn to be OC

At this point I'd even take Fassel as OC. Just make GW the head coach already! *facepalm*

Hey Tamanon,

What do you think of this quote by Marcellus Wiley on Mike Smith

I was looking at this saying, 'Wow they went way down low on the totem pole for this,' " Wiley said on ESPN's First Take Wednesday. "I say this because when I was in Jacksonville, Jack Del Rio was the defensive coordinator. ... Mike Smith, I won't say he was a puppet figure, but at the same time, Mike Smith wasn't the guy guys in the lockerroom respected. He wasn't the one you looked at and said, 'OK, he's our leader.' ... We just knew he was standing in front of the room while Jack Del Rio called the shots."

Marcellus is a little bitter, Del Rio has his hands more in the offense. Keep in mind, Wiley was stuck as a backup at Jacksonville his couple years.

Figured as much because I didn't see the show, but it definitely read as bitter tears. At least I hope it is cause we don't need another coach who the players won't respect.

Pasquarelli (sp?) wrote that other, and more prominent veterans lauded Smith. I think I'll take their word over a backup any day of the week.

so in my quest to keep telling jokes about crappy football busts, anyone think a jersey with "Penis" on the back for Curtis Enis would go over well at a Bears game?

maybe i'll do the bracy walker thing and put the whole name back there. "CURTIS PENIS" on a bears jersey would rule

It would be funnier if his name was Patrick Enis and he wasn't the only Enis on the team. Then you could have P.ENIS and hilarity would ensue.

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) -- Tampa Bay's A-Train has made his final run.

Six-time Pro Bowl fullback Mike Alstott announced his retirement after 12 seasons Thursday, saying goodbye to the NFL during a tearful news conference in a meeting room where the Buccaneers played a highlight film of some of his most memorable plays.

I will remember you...
Will you remember me?
Don't let your life pass you by...
Weep not for the memories....

Fassel taking the Skins job is good news for Giants' and Cowboys' (and, sure, stick the Igles in there too) fans alike.... I mean, sure, you could argue the NFC East will be competitive every year (of course)... but the Skins take a serious step back if they go with Fassel.

Washington... pray to step away from "Field Goal" Fassel.

Is Alstott a Hall of Fame FB? I never thought he was an exceptional blocker, but he's certainly the best running FB I've ever seen. He has a handful of the most memorable runs I've ever seen. Remember the goalline run against the Vikings where he was stonewalled at the line of scrimmage, regained his composure, and barreled into the endzone? He was a scary, beast of a man. The league is softer without him.

Yea, or that goalline run against the Redskins where he was stonewalled at the line of scrimmage, tried to regain his composure, but was held out of the endzone? That play that cost us a home game in the playoffs in 2005?

Yea, that was great.

Remember when Gus Frerotte got stonewalled by the stadium wall?

Lolz, when I was looking for stats on Strahan, one of the first 3 suggestions (other popular searches on google) was "Strahan gay." WTF is that about?

There was that rumor going around the time of his divorce that he was gay. I think it was his ex spreading lies.

Brett Favre not going to the Pro Bowl, Jeff Garcia to take his place.

I kinda want LT to play in the Pro Bowl because I think it'd be hilarious to see how much shit he'd get for it.

I'm taking the giants in the betting scene because I think they can play the patriots close enough such that they will overcome the spread (4.5 on the high bets and 11.5 on the cheap bets).

Surprised no one mentioned the ranking of all 106 players in the Super Bowl. Pretty retarded idea considering they are dead wrong on a number of players (just going by the Giants).

61. CB Kevin Dockery -- Giants

He was a starter prior to being injured late in the year and started again in the wild-card game. He is an average cover guy who might not get his job back.

Second year guy with phenomenal technique. It says something when you are 5'8" and are routinely asked to cover the bigger more physical guys and do a good job of it.

58. FB Madison Hedgecock -- Giants

He is the Giants' starting fullback, but they do not run out of the I formation too often, so he is more productive on special teams.

What are you fucking kidding me? :lol They primarily run out of offset I formations, if that is what he meant.

43. OG Rich Seubert -- Giants

Seubert is a solid backup and spot starter. He is a smart, blue-collar player and a very good technician. You love him on your team because of his versatility.

Been our starting LG all year...

If they're not going to do it right don't do it at all.

i still cant fucking believe linehan dumped hedgecock for no reason.

sjax was so much more productive with hedgecock leading the way than out of singleback sets or with richard owens at h-back

If there's anything Giants fans know, it's FBs. Grew up watching Charles Way, one of the best FBs to ever play the game.

That said, Hedge is a beast! I remember early in the year before he got really familiar with the O he'd take on and beat the first player he engaged then got to the second level and wouldn't know who to hit. :lol The guy is a pure-bred FB that just wants to smash people. Glad that the Giants locked him up for a long time.

yeah its a damn shame, but hopefully we can replace him via the draft. but linehan doesnt utilize FB's in his offense, thats why brian leonard is listed as a FB and he cant block shit.
