Elon Musk's Neuralink: Gaming Revolution or Dangerous Experiment?

News just came out relatively recently that neuralink was used to make a pig move it's leg against it's will.

If someone, without a debilitating central nervous system disease, voluntarily gets that implant.... Lol, lmao even

At this point we human don't even care for any side effect anymore, just inject us the ultimate VR experience into our brains once and for all

Let's make it possible in the next 10-20 years

Both, a gaming Revolution and a dangerous experiment.

It shouldn't be implemented until they research it during many years and and a ton of other sources verify it is completely safe and that they don't do any weird stuff with privacy and mind control.

I've been thinking about Elon Musk's Neuralink project a lot lately. The idea of a brain implant that could enhance our gaming experiences is both exciting and a bit terrifying.
If Neuralink were to develop a gaming console that could be implanted into the brain, would you be willing to try it?
Imagine being able to experience games in a whole new way, feeling every sensation, taste, and smell. It could be like living inside a virtual world.
But on the other hand, there are serious concerns about the potential risks and ethical implications. Could it lead to addiction or even brain damage?
What are your thoughts? Would you be willing to take the leap?
This is an important matter of discussion, and one more broadly as well. (morals, ethics, AI, humanity, participation, segregation...)

Quite simply, it can go away into the sea of forgetfulness.

If you are a paraplegic it's a fucking miracle.... It's not for everyone else to get a hole in their head for.

Hard pass on all that transhumanism shit unless i can achieve immortality with it
Even if you could, it's not a good idea and one that would eventually backfire. Imagine someone eventually wishes to finally end it all and die but only to realize they can't and trapped in some VR mind forever and not the good fun kind either.
