We're not downsizing. Downsizing is when people get laid off. That's not happening right now.

In terms of the space, people are overreacting a bit for sure. Maybe it will come across better in a larger tour video, but the new bullpen's not that different from the cubicles they were in before. It's just in a separate room rather than an open area. So we don't have to worry (as much) about debates echoing over all Defy's offices or people walking by and seeing us play games pre-release.

My office and Brandon's office are roughly the same size as before. Ian and Don's bay is significantly larger, and the studio is about twice as large. (Don't let Bosman's shots fool you.) This building also has a faster network, better parking, and better food options. You really don't need to worry.

But on another more general note - was not being able to say where you go next a Defy contractual thing? You hear that often in the US even with pretty low level job positions. I mean it's not like any video game journalist switching jobs will ever affect stock prices or something.

Its why I only use neogaf and gametrailers as my source of gaming news and discussion. All these youtube outlets are just so fucking annoying....and, I don't know.....LOUD.
