Can't wait to spend near full price on games that I bought last gen for full price.
Surprised so many are down on this. If it's cheap for Nintendo to port, and easy to do, why not pad the launch lineup and Year 1 with Wii U ports.
Of course, it will suck having to buy them again, but if it sates the Year 1 drought I'm all for it.
Who was the person yesterday who said they were not ports?
Splatoon seems like it could've easily be a new entry.
I mean pants will change the gameplay quite a bit.
Nah it was a specific non-Nintendo source. Can't remember due to the flurry of threads and posts yesterday.

Yeah better get a discount for digital buyers.
Bring back Ice Climbers.
If that's the case, then the Splatoon team must have gone balls-out in terms of upgrading the game. Though I'm more curious about how much Smash was upgraded (I.E. are there more characters & stages?).
An enhanced Smash port feels like too big of news to show in a trailer montage of random games. That's why, I assume, it was not shown.Emily Rogers‏ @ArcadeGirl64
I still expect Smash Bros port. Mario Maker port is a trickier situation. It was in development but...I don't know what's going on with that
Mario Maker may not make it.

What are the odds these games are released at a retail discounted price instead of a full $60?

Jumping the gun as always, internet lol.
Not exactly a bad thing if you never had a Wii U.
Because they're still largely the same games, just as GTAV and Last of Us remastered are largely the same just better looking with some new features.
Looking forward to hearing this again."They're not the same games. It's not the same content."
