ok, i've plugged in my camera to download a large video i shot. i've tried to go through the standard "camera and scanner wizard" and i've tried opening up the cameras contents through explorer and directly copying over to my pc's hdd...

but no matter what i try to do, i get an error message saying;

"error copying file or folder..... the i/o operation has been aborted because of either a thread exit or an application request."

anyone have any suggestions?

a bit more info

the file is a little over 200 megs, and my ancient pc doesnt have a "high speed usb port", or something (it tells me everytime i try and hook up my psp... but as far as i know, its never been an issue other then speed).

You need to pull out the memory card and get it into a reader (buy a USB board for your PC if necessary) and then the PC will treat the memory card as a drive and you can drag it onto your PC. I have a similar problem with nearly 1GB videos on my camera from time to time and that's how I resolve the matter.
