Why did the first Miku Game disappeared from the Store?

I am currently struggeling with myself and my wallet. The Big in Japan sale is still going and I have my eye on the Atelier games. Since I bought too much pornography my Vita budget is sparse and I may only buy one of the games. I already own Meruru Plus and enjoyed it a lot and eyed Ayesha next. But then again I am not sure if Rorona and Totori aren't worth it too. Is it possible to get back down the timeline and enjoy the games (as in: got the gameplay improved too much in Meruru to enjoy the older games) or should I just move forward to the dusk?

Rorona Plus was released after Meruru with a lot of improvements over the original release. It's certainly possible to go back and play it after Meruru.
