Thankfully they're not my friends at all. I just met them. The football federation has to tackle down on extreme behaviors and sanction them, that's what ours does anyway.
Another thing - I'm my country, overconfidence is seen as a bad thing - even on the final of Euro 2016 we still didn't believe we could win, but somehow we did. There was no overconfidence, "it is what it is" is how we think. And that made the 2016's edition win so fucking sweet. We were the underdogs, France was boasting how good they are, everyone was betting on France. Looks like Portugal took it, and felt really fucking good to rub it against their faces.
I know not everyone english fan is like that, but when, for example, my country is afraid of hosting them but not others... then something is wrong. And the constant baiting of how PL is the best league and others are shit is not real? Every time some PL club goes to the Champions is always the same fucking thing. Your league is so great that they had to grab coaches and players from all over Europe to even make it a competition against the biggest in Europe.
I'm not salty at all. Last Euro my country won, so I'm good. I knew that Portugal wouldn't win this, and I always knew that Italy was going to take it. Either Spain or Italy was my bet, but for some reason, I always knew Italy was going to take it.
I will congratulate the English team itself as they have good players and they fought tooth and nail to get to the final. The fans? I'm good.
Anyway, England played well and maybe next time they're lucky. Italy was the clear winner this year, and I'm really happy for them.

Done in the open, Chiellini knew what he was doing - had other defenders back and he did it near midfield so that he couldn't get anything other than a yellow. Rather than risking ending up in a dangerous situation - he probably wouldn't have kept up with Saka, after all he is quite older than him and it shows - he deliberately fouled him. You may not like what he did, but he was literally playing by (and with) the rules.

The difference is that the tactical foul was correctly carded, whereas the divings never got sanctioned and so people just kept doing them over and over.
Regarding Sterling's penalty specifically...well, feel free to think whatever you want. It was still useless in the end, anyway, so there isn't really any reason to bother about it further.

Anything that leads to a more favorable outcome can be hand-waved away as tactical. Surely a "tactical kick to the face" that prevents an opponents goal is worth a red-card? Provided it is carded correctly, I assume you're OK with it.

It would be a terrible tactical decision since you would be doing the rest of the match with one less player, and i fail to see why one would need to kick someone to the face to stop him to begin with when there are far less violent ways to achieve the same result. Besides, if you're doing it "to prevent an opponents goal" specifically, you would likely be in a location that already warrants a penalty for such fouls, so it probably wouldn't even be of much help.

Well the cards are the justice system so yes, I'd be okay with it if the correct card was awarded. Chiellini pulled Saka's shirt to stop him from breaking away. He didn't "choke him". We've seen it a million times and he was awarded a yellow card as we've seen a million times. So bitter. Get over it, they lost to a better team.

I always knew most of it was a load of cobblers regardless, and from my own experience, the only time i've ever personally experienced racism was at work from one of our residents, a black lad from London, he wasnt vulgar but he had it in his head that whites were just mostly racist, so in turn he was on a low level. We are invested in the game obviously and sometimes having an allegiance to one team or the other might nudge how some view one event in a match one way or the other but I don't think we need to get at each other throats over it even if we can't reach to an agreement over it. So far no one is changing their mind about two incidents and fans behavior and that is ok we can disagree on things and still get along fine.
