Also, lulz at the screen cap of Anno saying he chose it because it sounded cool being used to devalue the series. I think they've done a better job of creating intrigue than Lost ever did, but why you gotta act all shocked and then shit on the series when it doesn't all come together perfectly. It's about the ride. I still love Evangelion, but the days of trying to discover "what it's all about" is long gone. I'm here for characters I've grown to love and awesome scifi action.

Oh, she's actually got a new song for this? Even though she's meant to be on hiatus? I once asked her on Twitter if she was gonna be doing the ending song for 3.0 after she tweeted she was looking forward to it but I never got a reply. (￣^￣

As much as I agree with your sentiment here, Duckroll is right: you guys better get with the times and at least learn to accept it. It's not going to go away.
They really could have done without the overblown gamut circus in the introductory scene though (weak direction aside).

It's amazing how there's been about 9000 posts about a movie none of them have even seen in less than 24 hours lol. Also those spoilers holy fuck...
Watched the first two parts when they were shown on TV because I wanted to know why the series is pretty popular and liked them (even though I think that they overdid it with the fanservice). I'm not that much into anime that I will buy it, but this part also looks really good from this 6 minute clip I've seen so far.
