Only way I can see it happen is through Sony but even then... the way they're doing SFV wouldn't probably fly with Marvel fans... Getting only like 15-20 characters to start with after people complained about Marvel 3 not launching with more than 50 to outclass MvC2...

Not true at all they stated at comic con that they were interested in doing other games but didn't want to foot the bill so if it does happen it will likely be exclusive as someone else would have to foot the bill. Outside of that it would probably piss many MVC fans off because its a safe bet the xmen would disappear from the game.

How in the world would it set a bad precedent? How can it be bad to let the champion share some kind words to the people that supported him and were with him till the very end, why would that be bad?

Because then you have to let everyone who wins have the opportunity to use the mic. You can't just pick and choose, so it's either all or nothing. It's not so much that they were worried that KBR was going to mouth off something bad, it's the idea that they would be obligating themselves to risk it with every winner moving forward.

Disney owns the non-Square characters in KH.
