When I went to Victoria I went to West Coast Waffles and had a smoked salmon waffle. It was the best thing I ever put in my mouth.

It used to be 16 for me Wazzy.....16!!!!!!
Although it was actually already acceptable to drink when you were 15.
I remember when I was 15, we had orientation days with our class. It meant you spent 2 days with classmates and teachers at some nice location, like a hotel, to find out what kind of classes you should follow the second part of highschool (what you wanted to do after school, which classes suited those the best etc etc).
At night we were actually allowed to drink 3 beers per person.
Can you imagine that nowadays? 15 year olds on a schooltrip drinking beer with teachers?

Then again, I knew some teachers who did weed with students which I thought was pretty fucked up.

I'm 21 and I don't feel that way.
I was 17 because I was a high schooler in the suburbs and hanging out in parkings lots smoking was the coolest thing we could do.

When I think back it was indeed weird. But back then it was really really normal.
Also at the parties at school (kinda like proms/dances..whatever you call it), they always served alcohol. And you could smoke inside the school. (only at the parties ofcourse)
And then we used to sneak into the teachers lounge during those parties and steal their beer
