How do you tell if a girl like likes you, or if they just like you as a customer who eats Portuguese-Mozambique food?

If Deadpool's taught me anything it's that you should find out who she fancies and kidnap him.

that gun thread reminded me that I need to check on how my potential roommate plans to handle his guns. would definitely not feel comfortable with him having guns just sitting around. not really convinced that he takes them seriously enough

didn't even realize that could be an issue till now

that thread wants me to get banned for screaming at everyone.

I get people are uncomfortable with it, but in that specific situation the guy is in his own house doing something completely legal. I'm sure if that OP said like "i'm really uncomfortable being around guns" that gives the brother in law some room to either say "oh i'll put it away" or "this is my house, i don't value your opinion". Either way the situation is done.

But this forum is full of man-babies who can't deal with people and have to ask their fake friends on the internet how to get through life.

If he was in his house casually sipping from jars of his own urine that's completely legal too, but it's still behavior that'd freak me out.

I tend to make a lot of negative assumptions about civs running around armed all the time. It's weird.

But that's the point. You can be freaked out or uncomfortable all you want, but what is supposed to come of it.

Like being freaked out or uncomfortable now means the brother in law should melt his guns? jump off a bridge? have sex with his sister....

I wouldn't live with someone that had a bunch of guns.

yer a professional though, you have an excuse.
please don't shoot me. at least not in no bad way.
There's a good way to shoot someone? Like you want me to kneecap you so you can collect disability or something?

yeah I don't really know what the OP was looking for. he acknowledged that he can't make his brother in law do what he wants and he doesn't want to not see his family so he pretty much has to deal with it.

way too vague to be productive, not that it would be great anyway.

I wouldn't live with someone that had a bunch of guns.

a bunch of guns would be a deal breaker. one or two? sure if i'm confident he can handle them properly

I'm armed right now. Fiteme.

No you're ARMED!

It's an odd thing. I'm super uncomfortable with the IDEA of guns. Part of my discussion with other parents includes (paraphrased) "do you have guns y/n? if y, do you have a gun safe y/n" because I know I'm not going to let my son go over to the house of someone who doesn't secure their guns.

If I see some crazy guy at Chipotle with a long rifle I get angry with that guy, especially if I'm with my son. It's irrational, really, but it is what it is.

However if I'm hanging with a buddy or a family member and they talk about their guns and show them off and such, I have no problem with it. It's probably the familiarity of it all I suppose. Like you're saying, even if you are uncomfortable, what's the next step? Convince your BiL to give up their guns?

Choose your battles anti-gun advocates.

maybe the anger is weird but I don't see the discomfort with a stranger holding something that important near you being irrational.

Its like everytime I get in a car with someone new driving I'm slightly on edge cause I don't really know how they're going to drive. 99% of the time it turns out fine but sometimes I get that guy who runs redlights and zigzags through traffic and I never let them drive me again. Even then, they're probably not going to get in an accident with me in the car but better to be safe than sorry when your life is on the line

Yea, I get the same way anytime I get into a car to ride with someone new. It's why I hated flying for the longest time.

I think the anger comes from them making me feel uncomfortable despite my only want being a burrito (or insert whatever public thing I'm doing.)

anyone read kill screen and is it any good? A brief description of it sounds nice but its hard to say how it works in practice without being familiar with it

Also their website home page is super busy and awful

or I guess more accurately, is there a New Yorker equivalent for gaming? pretty much all the best articles I've read on gaming comes from there and I'm usually disappointed reading reviews and articles from gaming sites

most of what I've read articles from is Game Informer, Gamespot, Kotaku, Polygon, ign, and maybe a couple others. probably all pretty mainstream

goddamn these street fighter waiting times until finding a match.

That looks really, really solid Jobbs.

edit: The apartment above me is getting new carpet and it's loud as fuck.

thanks guys, and misha I need to troubleshoot that blinking line to figure out how to get rid of it, that's one of the remaining problems

honestly it just needs a bit of tightening up and I'm thinking of adding a bit of face rotation because I love face rotation
