Coppelion Episode 13 Angel (END)

The one building having that shot and its usual shot was a nice piece but otherwise most of this episode was dull.
nice baby birth though, Sora and Riku
.
Haruto could have survived or something if even the antagonists survive and join up with the main crew
.

I think much of the anime was just held back by the source material being uninteresting. It had key moments like the chase scene always shown in the pvs and Haruto's moments but largely it just never took off or did anything truly on a grand scale. This whole anime felt like some small miniarc extended to last 12 chapters with few progress being made in the overall scheme of the series. I guess if they had done something to clear out waste or remove waste from the winds or make the area liveable and such for the people involved instead of a minor rescue operation then it would have been a bit better.

angela, the music, and visuals were the highlights. 3/10.

Psycho-Pass Eps. 1-3
One of the few animes to immediately grab my attention from episode 1. The cyberpunk theme and the the concept that a victim could be so psychologically damaged that they are also condemned by the very people who were meant to rescue them is such an interesting concept. The use of latent criminals whose sole job is to find other latent criminals reminds me of that cyberpunk trailer from CD Projekt Red. Hopefully the show keeps its momentum in future episodes.
This show had a lot of potential, the first episode was incredibly interesting but like another poster said. It all goes downhill from there.

Glad to hear it's good. I ordered the Premium Blu-Ray set from Rightstuf the other day that comes with all the extra knick-knacks.

Umm...

That's like asking if Bruce Willis gets himself into another random violent encounter in the next Die Hard movie, or if he actually spends more time with his family instead. :)

Well there is material set in the real world and at a school. Admittedly its mostly just an interlude and setup the next game but it is there. Wish we had more of it.

Just watched the second OVA in the Ghost in the Shell: Arise series and I thoroughly enjoyed it although I had a bit of trouble understanding the plot on a first viewing. The soundtrack is so good though alongside the animation.

Honestly speaking, the teacher having misleading breast sizes was more surprising than giant loli boobs, because someone actually posted the image.

I was basically just watching for the dub, but there's a lot of sexual imagry, from titfucking someone's leg leading to someone's foot getting sucked, to bananas, to forced breastgrabbing... and yogurt.

Being that it's a more heavy sexualizing of normal fetishes, it kind of made this more boring as a result, partly because it's a harem anime.

Honestly, Apocolypse Zero was better than this, quality and otherwise.

Dubbing is kind of funny though.

Episodes 51-61

K, that fight with Chrollo against Killua’s dad and granddad was badass. My mind was in shock when the top of the Crunchyroll description said that Chrollo was dead. But thankfully that wasn’t the case. Didn’t exactly want that guy to be more of a mystery than he already was.

I love how smart these villains are. Chrollo knew that he was no match for the two master assassins so what better idea than to hire an assassin to kill the guys asking assassins to assassinate him? These guys are actually smart.

Quite a shock to seeing the villains actually succeeding in their plans. Even if they did suffer the loss of two of their members, they still kinda got what they wanted in the end. I gotta say, the Phantom Troupe are some of the best villains I’ve ever seen in any anime. I really liked how Pakunoda could only transfer her memories into the others, even though it ended up costing her life, as she couldn’t come back with the boss so she didn’t know what to say. She practically knew she was done for.

They’re so complex in how they act, and how they deal with every situation thrown at them. Yeah, they’re assholes, but at least they aren’t one-note assholes.

But now that that’s all done and over with, it’s time for the next arc and judging by the opening, I think it’s going to be awesome.
Hisoka teaming up with Gon and Killua?!? What madness is this?!?

Yeesh, Gon’s dad is kind of an asshole. I mean, the entire reason Gon went looking for the game was to look for a clue for Ging’s whereabouts. But when he starts the game he basically says “Lolnope you can’t find me here. Have fun!”

But then again, it would be good to state this at the start as opposed to the end of the arc. If they did that, the entire arc could end up being pointless, so kudos there.

Whoa, we’ve got a loli joining the game too? Aw man, this is gonna be a fun arc.

Now go read the special Kurapika chapters of the manga if you haven't already. If you thought the Phantom Troupe were assholes before, well.....

Ginko puts on his detective hat once again for a dark little caper. Again, the ethereal, bittersweet ending (with perhaps a touch of that mono no aware feeling?) caps it so lovingly. Watching Ginko's travels is at times a tense and dark but ultimately gentle ride.

Tokyo Ravens Episode 12 GIRL RETURN -Love-

What if Touji did confess? The outfits were good especially touji in it and then bakatora and rolling the sleeves up the whole time.

Plot felt like perfect setup for this upcoming Shaman ASSAULT arc I guess action is on the horizon in either the attempt to get the coat they mentioned maybe.

Choose wisely
The only decent person in the Gamelan side and this happens. Well shit. Also things that were foreshadowed becoming true.
Yurisha stuff, yurisha body transmigration etc.
But more importantly. That door scene maaaan
I feared I was about to get Nadia'd.
so masterful. And that flashback. Good stuff.
A shame about last episode. Nii-whatever is paying for being dumb. So sad.

That feel when you lose a single, large, obvious piece of a model in your room and cannot find it anywhere the laws of physics dictate it should be, no matter how hard you try.

Also I can't let Kirby watch Eiken without me, so here goes.

The rainbow-chasing dude's dig at how he wasn't wandering around aimlessly to Ginko, the aimless wanderer, was gave me a nice little chuckle

This show is really beginning to almost feel like Doctor Who: Ginko, a strange master seemingly abnormal in contrast to his setting, wanders semi-aimlessly from place to place, fixing problems and getting into scrapes, usually with the help of some sort of companion. It's an interesting that we're seven episodes in and there's no overarching plot. I imagine it'll stay like that though, and to be honest, I kinda like it.

The whole scene for the sea lighting and the ceremony was wonderful
but I couldnt help feeling that something was going to happen which it did. Was glad that Akari managed to make it out and I guess Hikari too as well, Tsumugu, and hopefully Kaname too.
. Powerful episode all around.

Hyped for the next part.
