The 360 versions of their games have mostly been fine at launch. New Vegas had the most problems, but you could still play it. Skyrim on PS3 had some serious issues though, not sure about their other games on that platform. But given that they announced the game when they were already pretty much done with it, I'll bet that Fallout 4 will be fine on all platforms.
No worries, it's totally your prerogative, if you wanted to. I just meant if one person on GAF is getting on the 4th who knows who might get it even sooner.

This will be my only release day purchase this year.
That's the one, PS4 because PC was sold out. Buying PC physical to go in my collection bomb too, but my graphics card won't cope with only 1GB.
Exactly, that's what worries me, you don't have to worry about me though, I won't post pics until someone asks and I'll post them in the right place.

It's Fallout, I can deal with bugs. The ps3 versions of FO3 and NV were fucking nightmares. Just please no framerate death or hard locks and I'm fine with it.
I don't know what it was like when it launched, but they at least patched it to run decently well (at least by my standards
) by the time I played it a year later. I mean I got 400 hours on it before it started getting annoying and maybe unplayable (never as bad as Fallout New Vegas got on my PS3 at 200 hours though). It certainly played a lot better than the Fallouts did on the PS3 (and I played those after Skryim so I know they had all the patches by that point). It's why I bought the Fallouts for PS3, cause I figured if Skryim was how bad they ran on PS3 I was fine with it (and Skryim I didn't have a 360 when I got it so there was no choice).

Yes i had to make do with an xbox one pipboy edition as it was all that was instock but saving money meant i had to have it. Buying the ps4 copy immediately at launch, so i should be able to compare the two in a few weeks

I'm surprisingly ok with the lack of FO4 gameplay footage. I feel like I saw enough in the E3 demo. The graphics weren't stellar, but I don't really care. I loved FO3/NV and I'd happily play more of the same, which is all I'm expecting from this one.

If not awesome for those who get the game leaked early. For those hoping to go to say a Walmart or Best Buy and getting away with it, dire news: shit is almost impossible now. Their systems are programmed to not let you check out the game until day of release, regardless if you find it out in the shelves early.

Heh, even if I get my game early (Amazon has been known to do that accidentally), I think I'll try to hold off playing until launch day. I want to enjoy the excitement of playing it for the first time with most the rest of Fallout fans.
Of course, that depends on my willpower which I fully admit patience and willpower has never been a virtue of mine. So not sure I'll go through with waiting if I do get the game early

I don't think it matters if I play this early or not as usually for games of this scope I won't post on GAF until I reach a stopping point or a snag in the road I need help with.
So yeah. No mom and pop shops near me and I'm getting the digital version. Unless I see a "walmart has fucked up is selling early go run now" thread I won't worry too much about it as it won't happen

you don't even need the pipboy it's plastic and gross and tacky as shit. You can use the app on your phone without it and don't need to have something big and bulky on your arm.
