Fallout 4 - Multiple E3 Gameplay Demos, Releasing November 10th, 2015

Send help, I am literally dying.

I mean, I expected it and predicted it to be true, but...is it really true?

BRB, breathing into a paper bag.

I was kind of taken back by how over the top this was. Fallout has always been funny/silly. But this reminded me of Dead Rising and Saints Row even. The character creation + the building segments also reminded me of the Sims.

I just hope the Drag and Drop stuff isn't too simplified.

It's a big game with a ton of neat stuff but the gameplay demo totally encompassed how I am utterly disinterested in and unstimulated by Bethesda's idea of a "role playing game" and what they've done with the Fallout franchise. It's worlds apart from the series roots to the point where it is now a completely unique entity, for better or (at least for me) worse. It's just not Fallout 4 as I'd see Fallout 4. It's open world RGP-lite with crafting system made by Bethesda. Cool if you're into that. Otherwise *shrug*

I'll give it a look when it comes out but yeah, crafting/town building sealed the deal that this really isn't for me.

Now I understand why Sony is not that worried that PS4 is not getting too much exclusives this year... They will have Fallout 4 and freaking Metal Gear Solid V.

... But Xbox One as well + Halo 5 so that's a winning point for MS tho.

I've never played a Bethesda game but this could be my first.

This games seems awesome. Some people are never happy. The game is so deep and includes so much and all people can comment on is the graphics... Which I think are adequate

The Pipboy app thing could be cool if you could use it for real time maps somehow. It's exactly what I wanted in Skyrim while I was playing that to not have to switch back and forth to my map while in dungeons. If it's just for the inventory/menu then it gets way less cooler to me.

This... this was my most anticipated game of E3?

Fuck, the disappointment level is off the charts here. That dialogue, that same 'floaty' 3rd person animation, those clear vestiges of the same annoyances of that shitty engine, that decision to use a voiced protagonist, the feel like this is just Fallout 3 redux in so many ways....

Fuck, man.

I still think it'll be good, because they can't fuck up that exploration gameplay, and the world itself looks pretty amazing in the short-to-middle distance (far off is fugly) but damn, I can't help but be disappointed at this reveal.

That was one of the most confident, incredible game reveals I've ever seen.

It was the kind of stuff gamers dream about and write fanfics about in E3 prediction threads.

Love it. This E3 is off to an incredible start.

Looks fantastic, still very disappointed in the flexibility of the dialogue system and VA. I'm going to miss Fallout 3/New Vegas style.

Combat looks great, gun customization looks amazing, graphics look really good but the character models look weird, SUPER HYPED ABOUT SETTLEMENTS HYPED MORE THAN YOU COULD BELIEVE..... but the dialogue looks kinda bad. Kinda upset that they Biowared it.
