Wow, got up at 6:50 cause I gotta go to work. Hyped to start the VPN and download the game for when I get off, and then find out that they moved it back an hour. FML.
 
Should of Pre-ordered this as I loved Fallout 3 and New Vegas but the launch trailer left me feeling a bit "meh" then I just slapped myself silly and realized Bethesda never let me down and have earned my trust as a Developer!

By the way I don't recommend watching twitch streams of the game when it releases for a little while, there are already imbeciles making new twitch accounts with spoilers in their name so that when they subscribe to a channel a notification on the stream comes up with the their name which is the spoiler. Most big twitch streamers usually disable notifications for the first day with big releases like this to prevent that for themselves and their viewers but yeah, JFYI.

I'm going for a similar build, but any reason you have agility so low with this setup? Don't you want to maximize your AP more with this build?

Damn, hadn't considered this. I might just take one point out of luck and put it into strength. I'd like to get luck at least to 3 because I'll wannt to get Bloody Mess at some point and wanna leave the option for Mysterious Stranger open. Do we know whether or not wearing power armor boosts stats like srtangth and endurance?

I'll try to rely on V.A.T.S. as little as possible. I'd rather like to get a sniper rifle as soon as I can and use V.A.T.S. mostly as a last resort if something manages to get close. I played New Vegas that way and I enjoyed that very much. the only question will be how easy it will be to get my hands on a sniper rifle or a lesser long range rifle in the early game.

Power armor bumps strength to 11 for the purposes of carry capacity and damage, endurance stays the same but it has much higher DR

If anyone wants, I'd highly suggest this build, I've powergamed the shit outta it. Put the
point from the Special book found in your prewar house
into Intelligence for Scrapper, very useful perk that, then you need to invest 1 more special point around lvl 25 to unlock local leader, and 1 more around thereabouts to unlock high tech mods. Also need to get that strength bobblehead ASAP, which is a big ask but doable.

Gives you ninja and crit banking/better criticals from the start which is absurd. Options for Gun Fu and 4 leaf clover lategame are there, which are two supremely powerful perks, but they'd both require bobblehead and investment. Shouldn't go after them early on, focus on ninja, lockpicking, stealth, the two luck perks and rifleman/gunslinger/commander to taste.
 
Sorry never used a VPN before for steam. What's the best one to use from the UK?

Can seem to find one that is free as i don't want to pay for one that i am only going to use once.
 
I wasn't planning on getting this, but seeing the Dota 2 announcer for the PC version and managing to accidentally know nothing about the game, I am a bit excited.
 
So without spoilers for those that are playing the game, how is the Charisima and Intelligence stat together? Any fun?
 
Im getting more and more anxious by the minute. I can feel it, in 33 minutes my hearts just going to explode. I probably drank half a gallon of coffee in the past half hour. Lets do this. Only if i had some adderall.
 
Many say that I have to connect to the VPN, put steam in offline mode, disconnect from the VPN and play the game in offline mode.

Can't I just play with the VPN connected, so that I can unlock the achievements?
